  1. Let's get to the mood for Saturday's game thanks to our Zambian friends:
  2. And on top of that the Greek refs are planning on making an announcement against this decision. What is shameful is that these referees still consider themselves worthy of calling a football game. They have no balls to properly apply the rules of the game and write a proper match report, and they still come out and complain. Serves them right. The only good thing this move might accomplish is to put the Greek refs on notice. As for calling a fair game on Saturday by this ref, I would not really count on it. Reports are that this will be his last game as a ref before retiring. He has nothing to lose. Let's not forget who is bringing this ref in. It's UEFA assigned ref supervisor Pereyra. Back in February Melissanidis visited Pereyra for couple hours for a "little talk" and we know the results afterwards (Aretopoulos, Kominis). There are moves behind the scenes that don't see the light of day. it will be be very tough for PAOK at OAKA on Saturday. I don't see this ending well. Hope I am wrong.
  3. Don't think Gate 4 is the problem. It's the planted saboteurs that I am worried about.
  4. Looks like the cup final will be called by foreign referees. According to reports UEFA Elite refs will be assigned to the game.
  5. What bothers me is that other PAOK players got called up. Apparently Paschalakis does not have an agent that cooperates with EPO. It's that simple.
  6. Skibbe called up the players for the friendly against Saudi Arabia in Seville on May 15. Five PAOK players were called up for the game. Skibbe failed to call up Paschalakis which once again shows that not the best players are called up to the national team. PAOK players called up: Limnios, Koulouris, Pelkas, Chatziisaias, Giannoulis
  7. Sounds great. We'll get together and watch some games and have few drinks.
  8. I think all the PAOK fans should wear a Savvidis mask to the game. We all know all the AEK players are scared shitless seeing a picture of Ivan.
  9. Can't really help you here my friend. The only time I spent in LA were 3 hours at the airport on the way to Korea. Same thing with Vegas. Never been there. I think Yiankos will be able to help here.
  10. First of all don't count on the league changes taking place. It's only a proposal right now. There will be pressure not to see this happening. Mark my words. Five dollar tickets? What is the last time you went to a Superleague game in Greece? For that price you can't even see a 3rd division game.
  11. The hypocrite Melissanidis came out today saying that the Savvidis punishment should be exempt for one game so he could attend the cup final. If I was Ivan I would give him one big fat middle finger.
  12. Please no Ajax again.
  13. And there is the problem with the game in Greece. If those 6 teams can't survive without a TV contract they should not be playing in Superleague and should continue in the amateur divisions. NOVA running the league is another indication how things are screwed up in Greece. Not only are they running the league, they also determine the results of games as we have witnessed recently.
  14. And that's the end of the SL season for PAOK. SO close to winning it all.
  15. PAOK TV stream really sucks today.
  16. Relegation should happen if that's what the rules say. Look Superleague survived without AEX for couple years. It would survive without Panathinaikos too. And as a result it would make the league more trustworthy. There is no way the big teams (or the small ones for that matter) will trust each other if rules can change in mid-season depending on who it involves. Streamlining the league with 12 clubs is the right move, but it won't make any difference if you are going to manipulate the rules as was done in the past.
  17. Only two CB's in the squad. That means Mihojevic will get his debut in the PAOK jersey. Should be a fun game to see. The team surely will try to get Prijovic win the scoring title. Key players will need to be careful not to be red-carded and miss the cup final. With that in mind here is my lineup: ------------------- Paschalakis ------------------ Matos - Varela - Mihojevic - Vierinha ---- Mauricio -------------------- Canas ------ ---- Limnios ------ Pelkas -------- Mak ---- ---------------------- Prijovic ---------------------- Azevedo, Biseswar, El Kaddouri to sub in.
  18. Panathinaikos should either pay their debt to players or end up being relegated according to the rules of Superleague. It's exactly what is wrong with this country and as a result football as well. Different rules depending on who you are. As for Panathinaikos retaliating they will in the future. They were backstabbing other teams in the past. Why would they change now. PAOK's only mistake in the past few years was that they could believe they could cooperate with slime like the owners of Panathinaikos and AEK.
  19. In other news. In Greek football the more things change the more they stay the same. Today Superleague voted in mid-season to change the rule about licensing. The season started with a rule that if a team can't get a license to play in Superleague than they have to be relegated to Football League. All of a sudden Panathinaikos can't or is not willing to pay players salaries so what does Superleague do? They change the rule. Now a team that does not get a license starts the next season with -6 points and can't make transfers. It took three votes to finally accomplish this, but in the end they did. What a joke.
  20. EPO (KED) had the bright idea of appointing Kominis to ref the game on Sunday between Levadeiakos and Panionios. Two hours later they withdrew him claiming that he is injured (?) I think it was a move by the AEK controlled EPO to show their strength ahead of the final.
  21. The 3rd appeal was turned down. Effectively AEX wins the title on paper. This topic is now closed.
