Looks like we gave up on Janko, who used PAOK to get a better deal in Spain. On the other hand we agreed with Andrian Nilsen Pereira for a 4-year deal. He is expected to travel to Thessaloniki tomorrow to sign the deal.

The television rights for the 2020-2021 Superleague season are taking shape. As usual in Greek fashion things are not completely set even though the season kicks off tomorrow. The game will be televised on Novasport in Greece and Cyprus, and on PAOK TV everywhere else. The price for the game on PAOK TV is 4.99 Euro. You can order the season package for 79.90 Euro.

It sure is. And for us in the US it's the best way of seeing the PAOK home games for Superleague. This is all a result of the agreement between PAOK and Forthnet (NOVA) for PAOK's home Superleague games for the upcoming season, which was announced today. The deal between PAOK and NOVA is for the games to be televised on Novasport channels in Greece and Cyprus only. The deal apparently pay PAOK 7 milion Euro plus 1 extra milion if we finishes 2nd or 3r in the standings. If we win the title we will get 2 milion Euro extra instead. PAOK retain the international rights with the exception of Greece and Cyprus. PAOK TV just announced that the annual package will cost 79.99 Euro, while tomorrow's game will cost 4.99 Euro. Thessaloniki mayor Zervas announced that the New Toumba project was approved by the local authorities and is moving ahead. During an interview he mentioned the projected completion of the project is in 2025 and that it will cost around 140 milion Euro and will be financed by Ivan Savvidis. He also mentioned that the 40,000 stadium capacity is possible, but it depends and the design by the architectural company. The project still has to be approved by the Greek government, and that's where I expect major opposition as long as the current government is in power.

PAE PAOK denies that they received an offer for Esiti from China. Also all the major Cypriot teams have denied that they are interested in Warda despite the player visiting the island these days. Pretty sure the Esiti rumor is fake news although with the Chinese anything is possible. Besides Gumaraes, Parma has shown interest in Vieririnha according to some guy I just heard on the radio. In my opinion it's his agent's tactic to force PAOK to re-sign him. That scum Koutsioliakos tried that s%$#! before by planting stories in the press that Vieirinha is going to Olympiakos. Don't think Rebbe will bite.

Looks like Warda is heading to Omonia on free transfer.

Matos is probably the next one to leave. After returning from Brazil he had a talk with Rebbe concerning his future on the team and all options are on the table. I see him gone along with Vieirinha unless they decide to play a second role on the team as subs, something that i don't think either player will accept. IN othe news the youngster Chatzistravos was loaned to Lamia for one season.

Also we will get 1 mil for letting them show the Benfica CL game. As a package it's an excellent deal even though I prefer the PAOK TV. At least it appears that we (fans outside of Greece) will continue to enjoy the games on PAOK TV. The main benefit for PAE PAOK is that they can immediately report to UEFA the guaranteed 8 mil for FFP purposes. With PAOK TV they have to wait until the season is over and accounting makes releases their report.
