This has some great views of the match. Man Pelkas looks good.

Agreed, this came out of nowhere. Transfermarkt says he plays predominantly on the left wing, also plays as a right wing and striker. Not sure where all these people will fit in with Tudor's formations using two wingbacks and two CFs, when one of those guys is Kitsiou - maybe the below? It doesn't seem like any of these new signings are as good as Klaus. --Kitsiou-- --Mak-- --Rodrigues--Klaus-- If Jairo (or Rodrigues) is a good finisher, Mak is sure to feel nervous.

Janitor? He's in Cyprus. PH? He's lost his mind

The writing was on the wall with that guy, I'm guessing the Spanish league is starting soon and he wanted to get in for preseason (or just hates bougatsa). Any chance of Klaus making it for either game? I thought he was out 4-6 weeks, which is right about now.

No, they're right - Atromitos should just forfeit and give them Athens too. :: bows down to Turkish overlords ::
-
We are not West Ham - we want these international matches. We'll beat these guys, but they need to be taken seriously. Hopefully Toumba will be rocking
-
Going to be hard to grab players that can make an impact in two weeks' time when many leagues haven't even started yet.
-
That would be a huge win, but I think they'll get smashed. Would feel great to give the Turks that black eye though
-
I figured straight reds were two games?
-
You're right - esp if Kitsiou is injured. --Olsen-- --Poungouras--Costa--Tzavellas-- --Konstantinidis--Tziolis--Kace--Mak-- --Pelkas-- --Mistakidis--Koulouris--

I think you're just testing me. Now you know that I memorize everything you write ;)

But didn't you write the opposite below?

This is a good move for him, gets to play Champions League with a good team. Hope this works out for him.

I posted this in my forum, but relevant here: http://www.contra.gr/Soccer/Europe/EuropaLeague/playoff/ta-xrhmata-poy-pairnoyn-paok-kai-atromhtos-sto-europa-league.3606761.html

I agree that Rat doesn't seem like a good choice to release (even though from what I heard, Korovesis was great today). We're way too thin at left back and center back, and getting rid of players in each position does not bode well.

I think we can, but even if we can't...that's not a big deal. The club can afford to pay some people better, it's all in who they find. Pereyra wasn't exactly booted by the club. He wants to leave, apparently to Olympiakos. I say they send him out on loan to a team in Kyrgyzstan.

As Blackhawk notes in the other thread, we have only four days to register players for the next legs, which will be played on the 20th and 27th. Right now, the only person we have signed that hasn't played is Rodrigues, who was only announced two days ago. I find it very unlikely that we'll see a different team for this match - Rodrigues hasn't had a preseason at all, and unless we get Sabo, I can't see us putting anyone else in the lineup. I doubt we'll see him apart from a sub in the second playoff game. How long do Vitor's and Skondras' suspensions last in this portion of the competition? Two matches, or do they get wiped between rounds?

Game is in progress, currently at 62 minutes - tied 0-0.
-
In a few years, hopefully the Mistakidis/Konstantinidis/Kitsiou/Pelkas set will be great. Still a glaring hole at CB. How was Poungouras when he came on?
-
And that's game, we progress to the play-offs.
-
I go into a meeting and when I come out, we are down to ten men again. Christ. What's a team gotta do to end up with as many players as they start?
-
Most importantly - how does Sabo look? ;)

GOAL KONSTANTINIDIS!!!! 1-1
