  1. Will end up in a relegation-threatened team in a weaker league, and not feature.
  2. Exactly. At least he's young, but yet again we're here to recuperate someone who has fallen out of form. I guess we will see how this plays out. Any word on Salpi? Assuming he leaves, we'd have just Klaus and Koulouris going forward. It's about time Koulouris gets serious game time; I would think having someone as expensive as Finny won't exactly help in that regard (at least until the inevitable barrage of suspensions hits us midseason again).
  3. So in other words, the day after the referendum. This means that either (1) the majority votes yes and Tsipras has to get on his knees to beg the forgiveness of the creditors (assuming we don't default and the world goes to s%$#! after the 30th), or (2) they vote no, we drop the euro, and the bank holiday is extended until the new currency is worked out.
  4. I wonder if the club will be able to pay these people if/when the country drops the euro. I'm guessing our bank accounts are in Cyprus, and that they'll draw salaries in that way. And regarding the above - I don't think this guy is worth a million, frankly. But I guess with events unfolding as they are, we'll have to really shell out the dough to get *anyone*.
  5. Hell in a handbasket. So much progress, lost. What a coward.

    Allo kai touto

I have no idea who this guy is. But...did he kill a man in jail? What the F*** is this. Maybe his big brother Mitroglou should have given him some better life advice.
  7. Would have been a good signing for them a few years ago, but surely he doesn't have the legs anymore? I'm sure he's still better than Tziolis.
  8. I've tried to find him but haven't been able to, unfortunately. If anyone has any idea how to get in touch with him, it would be great to get him over here.
  9. I already watch him sleep.
  10. If you love something, set it free. If it's meant to be, it will return.
  11. I was happy to hear he did fine Pereyra. The team needs discipline, and he should lay down the law immediately. Lucas is getting quite annoying, just sell the guy and be done with him. You're probably right about the old timers trying to impress him. Mazel tov for Golasa.
  12. I don't know about you guys, but I've still got a hardon over this team. DOCTOR, DOCTOR, IT'S BEEN MORE THAN FOUR HOURS!!!
  13. I think it's unlikely we'll have the new blood here in time for these matches (and probably for our first qualifier for the EL). Apart from, of course, our new friends from Giannina. Thing is, even a depleted and demoralized team should be able to get us through at least that first match. Fingers crossed.
  14. I have had many bad experiences with Cypriot accents. Sounds like yiddish to me. That said, he seems like he's solid, I was thinking the same thing while watching.
  15. Thought this would be worth adding here - a little anecdote by the great Peter Economides: http://petereconomides.com/2015/06/24/heres-what-happens-when-you-lose-your-memory-on-swiss-rail/ The story in a nutshell.
  16. Reading that Malmo is causing some issues with Olsen. Let's see how this plays out...
  17. Would be hard to argue with that. Arnesen is asked about Garcia about an hour into the above press conference. Essentially says that he gave him a little while to think about what he wanted to do with the club (scout, coach, etc). Garcia chose to become a coach, so Arnesen told him that he needs to start slowly. Right now he's the U17's assistant coach, and is working on getting his badges. I'm glad they're taking it slow with him, it would be typical for us to give him a far-too-elevated position when he is just getting started (*coughstevenscoughcough*)
  18. Perhaps this will make you feel better: Just starting it myself. Hopefully good news in it.
  19. So little time to get prepared. For those other two friendlies, you literally mean players who are without teams?
  20. I think it's odd when people say that the government has better things to do than tackle corruption in the super league. Not everyone in the government is involved in debt negotiations, and I think showing the ability to reform in all facets of the country is very important. If Tsipras wants to show that the country can change, for the better, than this is a great way to do it. The question isn't whether or not they should be ignoring this to focus on the debt crisis. The question is (or should be), why aren't they tackling more things? Tax evasion, bureaucracy, profligate spending, nepotism, criminal conspiracies, the drug trade...the country would be better off (and the creditors more pleased) if progress is shown on every front - which is something the previous government apparently failed to do. Which is not to say that Syriza will do any of this. But just sayin'.
  21. So...possibly no more Naboa, but we keep Tziolis? I don't know how this is going to improve our team, apart from opening up salary space. I still think Golasa has a lot of potential, so I don't mind him staying at all. Olsen is looking more and more likely (assuming google translate isn't tricking me): http://www.expressen.se/kvp/sport/olsen-vet-inte-var-det-har-kommit-ifran/
  22. ^ exactly what I was thinking regarding Vargas Hope we keep Kace. What are the odds that Veria will actually be booted?
  23. Tzavellas to Veria may be the least surprising outcome I can think of. That club will literally become Zisi's wet dream. I say bite the bullet on the last three and take whatever hits you need to get them out.
  24. I'm not blown away by his arguments so much as I am blown away by his beautiful teeth and hair.
