  1. Notice how almost all of Mak's goals this year involve him spending a lot of time pointing to our badge? The guy knows how to play to the crowd.
  2. Haha keep him away from those one on ones, huh?
  3. Anyone have any clue as to their attendance at games? I'd imagine their fan base is a fraction what it was at their height. And I hope a mod updates the name of this topic, the R is driving me nuts.
  4. I stopped watching today's game in order to watch the PAOK match...imagine my pleasure at seeing the score when I went back to it. F*** yeah.
  5. What went on with Olsen? My stream kept cutting out during that. I thought they had scored??
  6. GOAL BERBATOV!!!
  7. Berbatov in for Konstantinidis. Jairo in for Klaus. We're down a goal. Ugh typical.
  8. Very nearly a goal by Kace just now. Hit the crossbar. Was a rocket.
  9. Not that exciting of a match, tbh

  11. I didn't watch it, was it rough?
  12. This guy knows what's going on!

  14. So pretty much our last lineup, but with Kace starting. That's good to see. We should win this one...
  15. Some pics posted of the U17s vs Panthrakikos. Good to see that Arnesen is paying attention. And that Garcia is still alive.

    NT Coaches

I stand by my claim that Magath's propensity towards conditioning will mean diddily squat for a team that's together a total of about three weeks a year. What is conservative about Sabella? Winning against Bosnia and Belgium when you are coaching Argentina shouldn't be considered an amazing result.
  17. I think Blackhawk confirmed that Antonis was fine (and he's been in the training videos like normal). Cimirot is training separately (running drills), and is shown jogging with the others, so it sounds like you're right. It pretty much just means Leovac is out for now I guess. At least this means we'll have enough depth that fatigue won't be much of an issue. Thank goodness Klaus got a yellow while celebrating vs AEK; I guarantee you he'll have to sit out one of the big games due to an accumulation of those.
  18. Any of our injured people due back any time soon?
  19. Giannina's probably going to cop a trio, but it's hard to tell with these guys. Sometimes they play much better than you'd think, other times they fall asleep at the wheel.
  20. Regarding the SL this year - I'm pretty pleased that the team came from behind to win the last match. Last season, they would have just folded immediately. I still feel we're very shaky, but at least that doesn't lead to the self delusion we see in the AEK and PAO forums. If we can get four points out of the next two games, they would be solid results.
  21. (I'm going to assume this is a legit post) Soccer clubs compete in multiple competitions throughout a season. The premier league is the top domestic league of England, while Champions League is an inter-Europe league that is made up mainly of the top clubs from each domestic league, the participation of which is determined by how well teams do the previous year in that league. So this year's champions of France, for example, get to participate in next year's Champions League. Leagues get additional teams in this competition through a coefficient system, which determines each country's rank (separate from FIFA National Team rankings). In the US and Canada, MLS serves as the equivalent of the Premier League, and the CONCACAF Champions League takes the place of the UEFA Champions League. Formats may be different, but the idea is the same.
  22. Awesome drone footage:
