Sounds like as soon as I wrote that, Klaus (who came on with Kace for Tziolis and Charisis) nearly scored on ourselves. I take it all back.
-
Honestly I'd sub out one of Antonis/Pelkas/Mistakidis and get Klaus in front. Or, stack it even more offensively and put him in for Tziolis. Have us play a 3-3-2-2

Never, ever

It really sounds like the tempo has dropped. But I'm getting distracted by the rest of the internet while this game goes on. Did you guys know that people have sex on this thing??

Nasty goal -
Goal by our li'l CB buddy Chatziisais

If by some miracle Tudor remains with the team next year, we'd be fools not to sell Kace. He's just rotting on the bench at this point.
-
Its efficacy in Greece would depend entirely on who's doing the review, and if they can overrule the ref (which the above infographic doesn't seem to imply).

I doubt there will be one, but first row has this so far: http://ifirstrowus.eu/watch/416924/1/watch-panthrakikos-vs-paok-saloniki.html Would much rather see Kace there instead of Tziolis...

Panionios just drew vs Platanias. We're one point ahead of them now, with a game in hand.

Also - think MLS is going to see some repercussions from Uncle Sam's tear-down of FIFA last year? FIFA and UEFA need to tread carefully; they're not the ones who have access to prisons.

The world governing body of football is a self-appointed entity that only has as much power as the fans of the game allow it to have. Unfortunately, the peoples of the world have about as much balls as Greek fans of the game - in other words, none at all. With that said, I offer my services to help clean up at least the hooliganism. We've all been over this many times - metal detectors, assigned seating, security that does its job, stadium cameras, actual arrests, serious sentences. I went to watch a basketball game here in Boston a little while ago, and there's absolutely no comparison with how it's done in Greece. Corruption CAN be cleaned up if there's a political will to do so - believe it or not, worse crimes have been handled in other countries. I'm lookin' at you, Capone.

Illegally is an interesting choice of words. What law is the government breaking? Sounds like something Sepp would say ;) I have no faith that UEFA will help clean anything up. More likely that they'd try to enforce the status quo. To me, UEFA is even less likely to make a positive change than the government you love so very much.
-
Who'll be the rustier, you think? Hopefully Pelkas has a goal in him.
-
Should they perhaps sue the other fans? Because we know that simple things like metal detectors and assigned seating are too much for the club to handle.
-
I hope he really lets us have it

The worst thing about these kinds of headlines is that we have no knowledge of what, if anything, is actually actionable. We don't know if anyone has any proof of anything, any intention to find proof, any intention to prosecute, anything at all. That's why I'm predicting we'll end up with a forfeited cup run + a 6 point deduction on our SL points totals. And of course a 150k EUR fine and a 5-match fan ban. And next year, back to the same.

^killing puppies?

Sad that we'll lose Mak. He was having a great year. Shut the damn league down. Are they cancelling the competition because they actually have a plan for Greek soccer, or just as punishment for a pitch invasion? Not that I think anything will actually be changed.

Epl English Premier League - General Discussion
pash replied to Koro's topic in English Premier League and Divisions
Wild results yesterday. With Leicester drawing on Monday I thought for sure they'd end up being overtaken by Tottenham. Who would have guessed that a draw was enough for Leicester to CONTINUE to pull ahead. -
Since we know the results of all games anyway, maybe they can once again have us missing out on that CL qualifier spot by one point ;)
-
/conspiracyhat Perhaps because he knew Mak would flip out and draw at least a second yellow? ;) /conspiracyhat
