  1. Can't believe we haven't noted yet - GREAT goal off of a free kick by Tzavellas. That left foot is made of gold.
  2. So a win vs Panionios should pretty much guarantee our making it into the playoffs at least. Giannina has a pretty steep hill to climb either way.
  3. Would really like to see Vellios get a shot in the next friendly. Something like the below. --Karnezis-- --Manolas--Sokratis--Tzavellas-- --Torosidis--Samaris--Tachtsidis--Stafylidis --Fortounis-- --Vellios--Karelis-- Pelkas would have been very useful today, it's good that he was called up for the Iceland match. Worked well with Mantalos/Fortounis a few months ago, so a 4-2-3-1 might be in order.
  4. When the majority of one's career with the NT has been spent underachieving, that becomes the norm.
  5. Looked questionable to me. I'll take it.
  6. If we can end this 3-1...it would be a very important victory, psychology-wise. Our guys have let every opponent get into their heads, and it's shown.
  7. Wonderful breakaway, wasn't it? Both strikers could have scored off of that
  8. Nice cross by Stafylidis, flubbed by Mitroglou. Goal incoming.
  9. It'll be fine. We should be able to beat Montenegro, and we have enough players getting into form that we should finally start seeing some success. It's worrying that so few wingers are there. Tzavellas is there because he provides depth at LB and, as teke said, he's having a good season. If we play four at the back, Stafylidis will almost certainly start over him (as he should). I'd be more worried about our still-unsettled midfield.
  10. There are a lot of moves we still need to make to improve this team. I'd start by selling Klaus and Kace. Especially if we end up getting a higher-caliber striker. I really like both players but Klaus in particular is just too inconsistent. If the rumors as to the offers made for Kace are true, we'd be silly not to sell. I'm sure we won't have Mak next season as well; let's just hope we get a great payoff for him.
  11. Hahaha! When it rains, it pours. Wouldn't be surprised to see Golasa or Sabo make the bench in that case.
  12. So in other words, this will be the one match where we don't get a bunch of cards ;)
  13. Fearless leader said in the other thread that he's out for one more game. Fearless leader is never wrong.
  14. My lineup: --Vellidis-- --Kitsiou--Vitor--Tzavellas--Leovac-- --Tziolis--Charisis--Kace-- --Rodrigues--Klaus--Pelkas-- I thought Skondras looked good last match as well; wouldn't mind him there over Kitsiou (assuming Kitsiou isn't suspended anyway). I'm guessing if Cimirot is back from injury, that we'll see him as a sub.
  15. 4-6 weeks. Absolutely unreal. Rodrigues looked great in the few minutes he played, so there's that at least. Jairo should have been back by now too, right? And Mak should be over his suspension as well?
  16. Assuming that Europe is in the cards for next season at all.
  17. Can't expect much better from a Panathinaikos fan.
  18. And a red card for Risvanis, their CB. The thinner they are back there, the better.
  19. This game might be enough to seal our entry into the playoffs. Very important match.
