We didn't buy him to keep him forever. If we win the championship, then by all means sell him (the clause is there for a reason). Of course, if we win, then possible CL entry might be enough to entice a few guys who are on the fence, to stay. But I'm getting ahead of myself...

9-man Xanthi has managed to hold AEK to a 1-1 draw. We stay in first place. Goals in the 40th (Xanthi - Brito) and 88th (AEK - Vranjes). The reds were at 56' and 73'.

Prijovic now the top scorer in the league (5 goals). Finally got ahead of Fortounis, who includes three penalties in his tally of four goals. Pelkas is our next highest scorer in the league, with a measly two goals. AEK will be playing in a few hours vs Xanthi, hopefully Xanthi will give us a gift. Currently, we're also first place in the league, barring this result.

Perhaps El Kaddouri will show that at some point, I look forward to seeing it ;)

BTW, Biseswar is far better than El Kaddouri in my book. He needs to be the one who's starting, not the other way around.

Personally, I think it was more an issue of psychology. I don't see them playing any differently than they did under Ivic. Mak about to come on. I'd assume for Pelkas, though I'd put him in for Prijovic and bring Limnios on for Pelkas.

I like the lineup, though I would have preferred Biseswar start. I think Shakhov is a good choice to start over Cimirot for this game.

I also wonder if Mak's skillset is conducive towards scoring against a team that will likely play deep.
