Disappointed at how the team fizzled out after the 2-1. We had a third goal in us for sure. Team looked sluggish also, but if this is the low point of our fitness, then we're in a good place. We can beat Basel away. Looking forward to the next game.

I had read that Limnios was a lock on right wing, which was the only questionable decision for me. If that's right, Lamprou/El Kaddouri/Warda will be battling it out for the left wing position. Which is not to say that I don't like Limnios; I just don't know if his form during preseason warrants him as a starter vs being a sub. Lucescu is a conservative coach and I can't see him starting the game without Canas out on the field. If they smell blood or are losing, then perhaps we'll see Shakhov come on. Guy's we're just one day away! I am so excited! Blood bucket ready!

Konstantinidis had insane speed but couldn't seem to get the offensive part down. But then again, he was also quite young. His injuries really set him back, but them's the breaks. Hopefully Kitsiou's improvement isn't just superficial and he can really learn from Matos (who really shouldn't be playing 40 games a year anyway).
