Trust me I hope I'm wrong and I hope our mid does step up and show us they can compete. My only concern is who skibbe might select. I kind of would rather see a young guy get a look but I have a feeling if zeca is injured it will be maniatis and tziolis. I have no clue what Zeca brings to the table yet but I can almost guarantee he will start if healthy.

First off where did I say we are going to lose the game in that comment when I spoke about our mid? Did I say something that isn't true? Is our mid not a huge problem? do they not get out played 90% of the time especially against an average to good teams mid? is it not a huge reason we don't create flow and chances? so before you tell me to leave the form because I made a comment about our sub par mid. I did speak positive about our results up until the Belgium game but I did speak negative about how we played to get those results. I also said after the Belgium game it was the first time in a while I was proud of our team as they should confidence and played Steller D. Bottom line it doesn't matter who is missing from your team and who we put at midfield, Bosnia will control the mid way better then we will. Our mid is and will be for years to come our weakest position by far.

Our Midfield even when healthy is a below average midfield, Samaris is over rated and not nearly as good as some people think he is. Our attack on most days is non existent and if you take Mitroglou out of our line up I don't think we score on most days. GOALTENDING - ADVANTAGE BOSNIA DEFENSE - ADVATNAGE GREECE MIDFIELD - ADVANTAGE BOSNIA OFFENCE -ADVANTAGE BOSNIA When both teams have there full roster imo.

No matter who is out I still think you guys have the advantage.

For get Greece fighting for first place and forget about thinking of scenarios for us taking first. Let's just focus on the biggest game of this campaign and let's not look ahead because this will be a tough challenge for us take 3 points. The odds are definitely not in our favor as it's a tough place to play in.

Bosnia is a much stronger team at home then they are on the road and they usually score in numbers at home. In saying that I think if we had a healthy team we would be able to shut the door on them. I think it will be a tough match for us as I think our midfield will cost us the game, I don't see any combination of players that can control the mid and the flow of the game for us. Also I don't want to see Oikonomou starting I think the guy shows flashes of being okay but overall he makes bad decisions and is sloppy in my opinion. I'm pretty sure you will see Tziolis start which is a bad move. Also if Zeca is healthy you can guarantee he will start. IMO the only thing Zeca brings to the team is speed. I believe the last time we played in Bosnia we conceded 3 and lost and that's when we had a solid defensive team so all in all this game scares the s%$#! out of me. Even with our full team at home we should have lost that game against Bosnia. I'm hoping even with the injuries the Greece team builds on the chemistry they've shown the last game against Belgium.

We are all throwing so many names out here of who should get a shot and yes we have some suspensions but realistically this is not the match to start tinkering and trying to figure out if a guy can cut it or not. This is game may decide whether we make the world cup or not. We need to be very smart about our selection and try to keep the chemistry this team has started to show. There are a lot of players who deserve a call up but now is not the time to take a chance, not in this match. We need more friendlies and during those friendlies is when we need to insert these players in. Another thing guys are throwing out there is we need to play for the win and attack Bosnia's defence, If we do that we will lose as we have shown over and over again that style doesn't work for us as we get exposed very easy on the counter. We need to build a wall defensively frustrate the Bosnian's until they start pushing there back end up and at that point we counter when we can. Its the only way we can win and its the way the Greeks should play.

We were lucky to scrap out a last minute tie against Bosnia at home with a full line up. Now we are going into the Bosnians house with a weaker line up it will be a tough task for us to come out of there with a point. Not saying Samiris is some great midfielder but he's the only guy we have right now and kpaps brings grit and energy to the team which we will miss fosure. Bosnia will have no problem controlling the game and they will get prime scoring chances let's just hope we can somehow hold a clean sheet which will be difficult. The mentality the NT team needs is the exact same one they had against the The Red Devils stay back defend like hell and attack when you get a chance because if we open it up at all we will concede a goal. Greece is always better when the play back first and attack on the counter.

Dzeko is still injured?

We can forget about Fetfa,Kone and Holebas. This coach has made his mind up and these guys will not be on the NT again. As far as our line up options for the Bosnia game goes we are screwed especially in our Mid. I think Bosnia will have no problem advancing the ball with speed on us and I think Manitais and Zeca will be caught running around out of position.

We all need to step back and not jump ahead.. All we have done is put ourselves in a good position to take 2nd place but we haven't secured anything yet. Yes the team showed heart and guts and spirit against Belgium and I'm feeling a little more optimistic after the Belgium game. Our position can change after the Bosnia game and we can easily be in third as well so before we start worrying about where we will be seeded for the playoff lets just chill and see if we make it there first and take it one game at a time. I want to see us build on the Belgium outcome and keep moving forward as a team and I don't want us to take a step back that's my concern. The Bosnia game will be a true test as the Bosnians are much stronger at home then they are on the road and I fully expect them to control the pace of the game. If we can come out of there with 3 points then that truly will change the picture. regardless we need to take at least a point or Bosnia will have a much better chance then us to take 2nd.

Belgium smashed them and I'm pretty sure they will have no problem beating them again. Bosnia smashed them as well. On the other hand even though we one 2-0 I still think they out played us and had the better chances. Even though we were minutes away from beating Belgium I still strongly believe they are a lock for fist and the only chance Greece has to making the WC is through a playoff. The Bosnia game is the biggest game and we better be prepared because they are going to seriously try and attack us and play for they will be playing for the win not the tie. I do think we need the mindset that we need the win but I would still play to our strengths and think defense first and attack when we get a chance on the counter.

I don't really want to see Oikonomou start I think he makes big mistakes on basic plays. You can pretty much bet Zeca will get the start especially with Samaris out. Gionnatos needs to be in the line up as his speed and hustle will give Bosnia defenders a hard time which will free up space for Mitro. On another not this is the first time in two years where I can see this team looked like a solid team again it was great to see again. This also just proves that Greece needs to be a team that focuses on defence first with every team and then attack on the counter, When Greece try to open it up and play all out offence even the weaker teams like Estonia for example expose us. If we played this style of Soccer from the beginning where we concentrate on defense first I don't believe we would have had such a bad two years as we tried and changed our style which doesn't suit our team.

I have been negative about the teams play up until this point as I don't think we've played well at all but today I have nothing negative to say these boys played their asses off if we had 11 players on the field we would've won this game. We frustrated Belgium as they had no answer for our defense. A couple guys struggled on our team and gave them all away pretty easy but overall great performance great defence of effort great result.

The ref just took 1st place away from us. Piece of s%$#!. The boys played there asses of and played rock solid defense and very organized in the back.. we deserved a lot better. we frustrated the hell out of Belgium and took advantage of there mistakes. Great job great result but it should have been a win if we had 11 players on the field.
