So it looks like Skibbe is going with 4-2-3-1 Karnezes toro-----------kPaps-----------Sokrati--------Staf Maniatis---------Samaris Gainnatos-----------Fourtonis-------Mantolas Mitro

I agree there is no tomorrow for this team a loss against Bosnia and our W/c hopes are done. I have no confidence in Skibbe so I am really worried about this match. Karelis should not be playing on the wing. I think Skibbe is going to try and go all out defence in this one so don't except to see any flow and good ball movement from the NT at all. Bosnia is going to be attacking all night.

We should definitely be the underdogs in this game. To be honest nobody including myself is expecting a win. Bosnia has great finishers and they don't usually have problems scoring goals. We have been outplayed and have given up grade A chances to teams like Estonia/Cyprus and even Gibraltar scored on us, and to be honest the only reason we ended up wining against Estonia is because they lack finishers. As much as it sucks to say this I think Bosnia will have no problem taking 3 points from us as they will dominate us from start to finish. I pray I'm wrong but I just don't see it unfolding any other way.

Is the Greek media and reporters not questioning Skibbe's players choices or are they giving him a free pass? I wonder if the people in Greece are as upset as us with his selection of players. I'm so curious to know what the vibe down there is around the team and the coach. Any time I check out Greek sites I hear no complaints about Tziolis and player selections is it just us? Maybe if people cared more down there then Skibbe might feel the heat a little and start making better choices.

I'm still very confused on what purpose that friendly served with the line up he fielded. It's so frustrated because we could actually have the potential to have a decent Starting line up with good players coming off the bench. Imagine having Kone, Ninis,Fetfa, Siopis as bench options with Fourtonis, Mitro Mantolasand so on as starters. It sucks because we will never know our true potential as long as Diamantakos, Tziolis,Maniatis, Bask, take a spot on this team. How the hell can a coach not see this when it is so clear and such an easy choice. I can't see us getting a win or a tie in this game against Bosnia.. I'm just curios what stupid subs and moves Skibbe makes for this game.

How the F*** do we continue to get outplayed by teams like Estonia,Belarus and even Cuprus to some extent and possibly think we are going to contend in this group? Today was a complete waste in my eyes and all it did was put a negative feeling in the players head going into the next game. For the life of me i don't understand the selection of players game after game. Is it Tsanos making these damn selections or is Skibbe just that much of a retard?

At the end of the day this is not a great way to build confidence going into our most important game. The choices this coach are an embarrassment and I would rather not have a guy like this as our bench boss. Wtf line up did we witness today? Karelis is the worst crosser and only needs to play the middle. Diamantakos should not be on the NT either. My god how much of a moron do you have to be not to field a good line up that will produce some offense against this team and go into the Bosnia game on a high. Tsiolis plays 90+minutes WTF. losing at home to these type of teams is becoming way to regular. If you are going to play around with the line up I. A friendly then start players like Kone or Ninis maybe even Fetfa not Diamantakos, Vellios, Tziolis and so on.

Let's be honest the team hasn't played well at all but has managed to get wins its only a matter of time until this formula runs out and we start losing again so for Skibbe not make any changes to our started line up and call up different players is just bad coaching. Skibbe is continuing to stay with the same line up that has been not playing well, is he hoping that all of a sudden after how many game that this line up will magically start playing well together? He really should have made some different call ups as any coach with common sense and a good soccer IQ would have definitely given him self a second option off the bench at the very least.

^I think more people are worried because of our line up and the guys Skibbe has chosen as bench options. With Manolas out i believe it makes us a little weaker in the back, I also think we had better options to call up instead of Diamantakos or Bask. And having Tziolis or Maniatis called up and potentially starting is concerning as well. I think our NT has the potential to be good but I don't think we will see it until the best possible players are called up. Wouldn't it be smart to have a good second option if our offense isn't clicking or Fortounis gets injured for example to bring on Ninis or Kone rather then having Vellios or Diamantakos? And if Skibbe played Holebas he wouldn't have retired as I believe he would have been a huge and important piece going forward. We are concerned that our best is not going g to be matching up against Bosnia and that's why some people are negative.

WTF... Are you guys really surprised that this coach picked this line up and didn't choose Ninis or feta as a bench option but instead choose Diamantakos? This time hasn't played good even though we managed to win so why not change it up a little bit and bring in Ninis and see what he does in the friendly? Maybe if Bosnia spank us then this coach will try something different but by then it might be to late. How hard headed do you have to be give guys that are looking really good a shot? this coach has made us lose Holebas and is not giving guys that are playing well and have NT experience a look like Ninis and Fetfa , Kone.

They have better scorers and a way better midfield and that will be a huge challenge for Greece. There defense isn't as bad as people make it out to be. if we give up the chances to them that we did against Estonia they have the finishers to make us pay. I honestly don't know how we are going to stop there offence.
-
I also agree, I don't understand why these players keep getting ignored, they at least should be on the bench as a second option coming off the bench if not starting. We will never get the full potential out of our team until the best players available are consistently on the NT. 3 players that needed to be on the NT whether bench or starting are Fet, ninis and holebas. these players deserved it more then guys like Tziolis, Tsavellas and Bak.. ARGY you made a good point that if our offence is looking stale and not producing then Ninis and fetfa should be a good second option at the very least. Right now we are living and dying with who we start with no bench options. If Skibbe cant see this then he's an idiot.
-
^I completely agree with you.

Bosnia are favorites against us and they are a better team then us bottom line. For Greece to pull off a draw will be difficult yet alone get a win. As I mentioned before if Greece continue to play the way they've been playing to start this campaign which allowed Estonia to have chance after chance then Bosnia will shred us to pieces. Bosnia passing game is much better then ours and they finish way better then us, plus they know to control the midfield something we cant do.
-
^ I kind of agree although I'm more worried about us losing to be honest especially if we play like our last two games. A win is a must I don't have any clue how Skibbe will pull this off but it is vital, if we lose or draw at home against Bosnia we are in big trouble as it will be very difficult to take any points from them when we go to Bosnia and to be honest we will probably end up losing in Bosnia that's why a win at home it asbsoloutley crucial.
