^we did dominate possession last campaign against Finland,FI,and NI even Hungary and we ate goals on the counter and set pieces from each team, I don't think anyone is suggesting go all out and neglect the defense, I think the issue here is there is no fluidity in our game, there is a huge gap between Midfeilders and Forwrds, when we are attacking or breaking out we aren't moving up as a unit which is not giving us options to control the ball, it seems like our chances are one and done either it ends up being a solo act by a player with no support. We need to close the gap between our back end and Forwards. I feel like our mids are afraid to move up in the fear of getting caught on the counter which is really ruining the flow. It doesn't help that Maniatis is in the midfield. We need someone to be able to control the mid and control the pace. I know we've been searching but until someone with SKILL is put in that role it won't change our style.

If Skibbe has the option to call up players then why not use it? Is he that closed minded? Does he not see what everyone else sees? If he plays Maniatis and Tziolis in this match then I'm truly at a loss for words. Right now with Fortounis out would be a great opportunity to call up Ninis and even bring him off the bench at some point and see what he can offer. Let's see what he decides but this Coach is really looking like a yes man with no eye for talent. -

A win here Is a must no excuses, if we win and Cyprus can somehow pull of a miracle tie against Bosnia then we are looking good considering Bosnia got spanked by Belgium. -
So then you agree with not making Holebas a starter or giving Bak all those minutes when there is better options or maybe your a fan of playing maniatis who yes has passion but no talent, so then you agree with Skibbe choices and the subs he makes .Are you saying Ninis doesn't deserve to be called up as even a bench option? You keep saying Fetfa is fat based on one picture. And yes I would rather see taxi over Staf. Look back at the the subs Skibbe has made over the last few games espcially the Gibraltor game when we needed to go for the kill and pound a few more goals he brings in Tziolis for what? Right now yes we are getting the wins but how long do you think that can last? It's a little embarrassing that Estonia scored the same amount of goals on Gibraltor and DIDN'T conced yet we did isn't it? I just think we have better options.

^No question I'm happy with the result but we won't know how good we can actually be unless we field our best possible players and play them on a constant basis, because how bad our last qualifier was that's what makes this even more concerning. How does it make sense playing guys that don't have a team and all they do is run around and foul everyone that gets in there way. Or not starting Holebas on a consistent basis, keep playing bask over giannatos, not calling up Ninis and maybe Kone, always has Tziolis as his go to option. These are wrong choices and we are not fielding our best possible line ups. Skibbe brings in Giannoatos he scores a huge winner against Netherlands and then hardly sees the field again. Holebas has played 10 minutes in his last 3 games. Maybe I'm wrong but his choice of players is not right at all.

Even though we got the 3 points and kept a clean sheet which is what truly counts,I can honestly say now with no doubt in my mind that Skibbe is a useless coach with horrible vision with a terrible judgement on players. He's continuing to put players in starting roles that have no business even being on the bench. His decision to turn around a game by makeing the right sub at the right time and his neglect to call up much better talent is mind blowing. If he continues field line ups like this it will eventually catch up to us and bite us in the ass. I have nothing positive to say about this coach.

I thought I heard he was okay.

Totally agree.. I don't know how any coach can justify calling up Tziolis or having a player with limited to NO skill get called up when they have no club. It's ridiculousl. The bad trend continues with Skibbe from his horrible subs in the Gibraltar game to the questionable call ups during friendlies. Regardless of the results the fact that he is not using and giving time to more talented players with a better upside is very disturbing. Has anyone seen good signs from this coach? I haven't. Now is the time to play Ninis and Kone against the weaker teams and maybe they can build some confidence and chemistry with this team and possibly have them ready for Bosnia and Belgium.

^ Its still a mistake when there are better players to choose from. Even if Kone or Ninis aren't starting for this team they should definitely be called up. Tziolis should never be called up for this team. By tziolis being called up it just shows the incompetent's of this coaching staff. Here is the problem, lets say Tziolis and or maniatis plays and we end up beating Cyprus and Estonia then in Skibbes mind he probably would want to stay with a winning formula against Bosnia and or Belgium and that's when we will end up losing our qualifications because we will spanked if those two are in the line up against those teams. Just my opinion.
