If Tziolis played in the biggest game of the year for us against Cyprus you can almost garuntee he will play in November..I'm very proud of our accomplishment as of now but I'm not a fan of the selection either but we can yell until we are blue in the face nothing will change Skibbe is who he is and he will pick who he wants even though I don't agree with it.. Laz needs to be a starter, Taxi also need more playing time. Yes Tziolis scored a big goal for us bravo but he still shouldn't be in the line up.. I truly think Skibbe is a little stubborn in his ways and he goes with his gut more then common sense when he puts his line up together.. we have the potential to have some really good players in our staring line up and a pretty good bench if the right guys were called up. Regardless it is what it is.. let's smash Gibraltar and hopefully get the weakest seeded team and after we beat them we can relax until June when we make it to the WORLD CUP!!!

With out Tzavellas goal we are not in the position today... That goal saved our campaign... I think there was less then a minute to play if I'm not mistaken... I remember I was on the plane from LA but we had not taken off yet and I was watching it on my ipad in my seat I screamed so loud "F*** Yes" the entire plane looked at me and I stood up and apologized. ^ Exactly... Imagine our last game was against Belgium or even Bosnia and we needed a win... We now have to beat the whipping boys of the group to advance into the playoffs to get into the World Cup.. All the pieces have fallen exactly as we needed.

Let's just sit back and enjoy the fact the we now control our own destiny again and that we've put our selfs in a position with a win over Gibraltar to be amongs the best 2nd place teams and at the very least we get to see the Ethniki in two crucial matches.. just for now let's forget the what if , the who the why and let's just enjoy the fact that we will have some really meaningful football coming up in November.. If Greece play like the did against belgium in both games they will NOT be an easy opponent to play against..

^Yes I will agree with you that we should have locked up second place and actually we had plenty of opportunities to do so. But realistically speaking Greece has never really qualified for a tournament with ease they usually always have to go to a playoff as they've never done it the easy way. Greece is and never was one of those teams that will hammer through qualifiers with ease bottom line they've just never been good enough when compared to the elites.. But I disagree that the teams waiting for the playoffs would be licking there chops to go a against Greece. Greece always plays the better teams hard and the weaker teams worse and that's because Greece cant play when they are forced to keep possession and force the game, Greece is good when they sit back take what's being thrown at them and then catch you on a counter. If your hoping Greece will ever become an elite team that's just not going to happen. Lets be happy if Greece can become a second tier team under the elites which is very respectable and still gives them decent chances to progress in tournaments.. After the last campaign which was an absolute s%$#! show at least they have come back and taken second in a much tougher group then we had for the euro qualifiers that we finished last.. Its a step in the right direction from last campaign..

No it doesn't matter what Slovakia do as they can't catch us in points no matter what. Their result against Malta is irrelevant to us in only matters for Slovenia.

I agree we should have battled it out with Belgium for first but bottom line we went toe to toe with Belgium and could have one the first game and should have gotten a draw in the second.. Belgium are a much better team then us. So you expect us to take first from Belgium but are afraid to play Denmark,Sweden ,Swis? Belgium are much better then those teams. There is nothing wrong with furnishing second in a group that has a much stronger opponent then our team.. at least we managed to finish second. The only down fall was the draw to Estonia.. I think Greece will bring there A game when they're the underdogs as we showed with Belgium.. let's just pray for one more result so we can get into the playoffs and who ever we draw we draw..

For those that live in Toronto the Scotland game is televised tomorrow if anyone is interested.. as far as the line we had out there today I'm not a fan at all.. I'm glad we won but come on man we have better players that should be playing.. what is Skibbe thinking?? He has been criticized by fans and the entire media with his selections..
