.i can't believe some of you thought Bosnia would lose to Cyprus.. If Greece don't get 3 points we are screwed especially now that Bosnia are going to win

These type of games scare the s%$#! out me... Estonia has no pressure as they know they are the underdogs, they can play loose and take chances, Greece has all the pressure and the longer the game goes and is scoreless Greece will star playing nervous and start forcing plays and that's when we are most vulnerable to a counter. Greece need an early goal to ease the fear of not getting the win. This is a truly tricky game Estonia have nothing to lose but Greece have everything to lose if they don't get 3 points.

I agree with Red Sheriff.... if we play that line up we will lose to Estonia... Thursday game versus Estonia is a MUST WIN anything less then a win and we can kiss our chances good bye... We need to play our best line up we have a available to us and only if we are winning then we can rest some players.. what's the point in looking ahead to the Belgium game if you blow this one.. We need to take Estonia very serious as they did out play us and had chance after chance the last time we met.. These call ups and potential line ups make me very nervous for this match..

compared to the guys that we call up how the hell do you NOT give Laz,Ninis and fetfa even a look at what they can bring to the table.. Fetfa has some serious skill and good foot work.. better than the majority of the call ups.

Vellios should not be called up period.... I don't see what the love for this guy is, the guy cant get any playing time and he doesn't deserve to be called up for the NT period....

Am I the only one who doesn't even want to think about the Belgium match until we beat Estonia? This match with Estonia scares me as it's one of those matches that can end up screwing us if we let our guard down or if we get frustrated if we don't score a goal then we start pushing and eat one on the counter by them. I'm nervous about this match...

The team has played well and look like they're finally starting to turn it around but Skibbe and his call ups are so puzzling. Fetfa should be given a chance and so should Laz. we have way more talented players then the ones being called up. Either Skibbe is a complete moron or others pick the squad for him. Laz and Fetfa get regular playing time and have talent yet he calls guys that are bench players for there club team..WTF

Agree I don't expect Cyprus to be able to handle Bosnia. I personally think Bosnia has a good chance of drawing Belgium and beating everyone else so Greece better get as many points as possible.

Say what you want but if this team starts looking ahead to the Belgium game then they will get upset by Estonia. This is a game where we should definitely win but if we play loose defensively and only focus on offence we have the potential to give up a goal. This is the reason we lost to the garbage teams in the euro.. If we go playing organized and move the ball around then we shouldn't have a problem.

^Good point I think it's a lot safer and better for Greece if Belgium beat Bosnia as we pretty much always knew that a World Cup qualification would most likely go through a playoff for us anyways. But if the Bosnians win or Draw against Belgium then Belgium becomes a lot harder for us to get points from in Athens and that might give Bosnia 2nd.

Lets be completely honest we all fell in love with the 2004 team because of there passion dedication and will to compete and how committed they were to the style of play that was forced upon them but there is no way they were more some skilled then most of our core players today. We do have more and more players playing outside Greece for some big name teams more then ever before which is a huge positive. I still think our team could be better with some players that haven't been given an opportunity. I don't want to sound like a Broken record but I've now watched the last couple of games Holebas has played in and what a weapon we have lost on our national team. Even Fetfa should be given another look as the guy can really turn guys inside out, even Laz should be given a chance. Kone and Ninis I haven't heard much about so I'm not sure how they're doing. If Donis could pan out then that solves one of our positions, now we need to figure out our mid which did look good with Zeca last game. Giannatos should also have some more playing time.
