  1. Chrisantus coming on for Zoric Aravidis going to the left, Barbosa behind Chrisantus up front. 55'
  2. Mike Ashley is just interested in making money from the club. He's a business man not a football supporter. He will take the millions NUFC get from whatever position they end up in (if they stay up) then throw a couple of mil to buy a few fringe players and repeat next season. No motivation to improve whatsoever.
  3. 2-1 Iraklis, a backpass from Anakoglou was intercepted by Perone who easily puts it past Anestis. Poor concentration there by Anakoglou. We need a 2nd before the break. 33'
  4. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL 1-1 by Aravidis 27' Ball was swung into the edge of the box and possibly the shortest player on the pitch Platellas wins the header and directs towards Aravidis who on a 1-on-1 with the GK puts it away nicely. Minutes later Anestis comes out to try and deal with a cross with a superman punch only for the opposing player to get the ball and have a clear shot at an open AEK goal only for it to be cleared by the AEK players on the line. He can be such a big liability. Both teams going for it.

  6. 1-0 Iraklis 12' Poor defending the culprit from Lambropoulos where after a cross came in from the right Giannis Pasa flicked it straight past Anesits, nice goal. It was the first real chance of the game Iraklis has had less possession but has been the better side.

  8. The lineup for the game; .......................Anestis Bakaki.....Tzante.....Labro.....Soiledi ...............Anakog....Johanss Platella.............Zoric.............Barbosa ......................Aravidis Bench: Vouras, Kolovetsios, Chrisantus, Ntounis, Petavrakis, Rovas, Faye.
  9. Doubt it, that was usually for home games during the regular season. Would be sweet though.
  10. Yeah seems like a lot of effort for a guy who's scored 29 goals in 3 seasons. Which is not the worst but is it worth ?1 mil? Also the attitude thing could prove a stumbling block. I think we can get better for that amount.
  11. Dimos Baxevanidis being mentioned. He is a left back that plays for Xanthi. 27 years old. Anybody ever see him play?
  12. No away fans for us in this game. Will be a hostile atmosphere Im sure and the Iraklis fans will do everything in there power to make it as uncomfortable as possible for the boys. Dellas has been tinkering with this formation for the game. .......................Anestis Bakaki.....Tzante.....Kolovet.....Soiledi ...............Anakog....Johanss Platella.............Zoric.............Barbosa ......................Aravidis
  13. Yeah it really wasn't the worst of jerseys and slight return of the stripes was a welcome surprise but yeah nothing special and this is definitely 100 times better. Our alternate jersey's will be REALLY really like the first one. Can't wait to get my hands on it. The perfect amount of yellow and black equally divided. And I agree with CHE the JEEP sponsor is great, simple and basic just as they should be not drawing too much attention away from the rest of the kit.
  14. To be honest all of them are better then the garbage we've been seeing the last 10 years or so
  15. Middle to the left is a beauty.
  16. Yeah a lot of people seem to forget that we have a legend managing us along this promising period. A aek legend, a national team legend, a footballing legend, a greek legend! His passion is just as much there if not more than the players and I would put my left nut on the line that we wouldnt be as this good off had we an xeno manager or somebody who doesnt know what it means to be AEK!
  17. No way Ayew would come to Greece. He will have offers from all over Europe including Liverpool & Spurs and a host of Champions League participating teams. Would be a beast move. But unlikely.
  18. It has been finalized, the play-offs start Sunday April 26 (this Sunday), the draw to see who plays who and when is tomorrow.
  19. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2015/04/18/clubs-queue-demand-burns Anyone in Australia been hearing much of him?
  20. Yeah I was skeptical about Diop just threw his name in to show the along the line of players I was talking about. God, reading some of those names gives me goosebumps...in a bad way, lets not forget the honorable Manu
  21. I really am scared of the fact of returning to the days where we buy has beens just for their name, Gudjohnssen, Bouba Diop, Juanfran?? How did we in any way expect players such as these to improve our team? Id much rather out system now of scoutting Greek players and the odd foreign player. We are a Greek football club thus should have a majority of Greeks in the squad i.e pre Euro2004, and not players who come to Greece for a last paycheck and to chill on fhe beach.
  22. I'd much prefer the 4-4-2, the 4-3-3 is a little to defensive IMO or should I say lacking in creativity up the field. We need that number 10 behind the striker. But yeah it is a little too early to be guessing formations I guess.
  23. Re megale to mono pou les ine oti then exi kerdisi tin Lamia h AEK pote, gia ela piso otan kerdisete kanena kypelo
  24. ........................................GK Bakakis.....Tzanetopoulos.....Kolovetsios.....LB ....................Anakoglou......Johansson/Cordero RW...........................Mantalos..............Barbosa ..........................Aravidis/Chrisantus Also have Simoes in the mix for CM, Dellas has a tough decision to make as to who is a starter in that position. Johansson is a definite but then again you cant have to defensively minded players like Johansson and Cordero in the midfield, well you can but I don't think its the best of ideas. Maybe Anakoglou will be at CAMF while Mantalos is out, with Johansson/Cordero/Simoes battling it out in CM. Then when Mantalos returns we will have 4 players battling it out for the 2 CM roles. Either way, its better to have this problem than to not. Definitely need a top class GK, LB, RW.
  25. Anywhere he goes he will be a beast. Really would love to see him in the EPL. He would really improve the Greek name abroad. Especially in England. Nobody has really done so since Stelios Giannakopoulos.
