  1. At 6'4 and with his strength you would think he would be better than he is. Sure getting game time is good and all but its the Danish league. At 23 and still relatively young he should be looking at one of the top 4-5 leagues. He's not going to develop in any way playing in Denmark.
  2. I started the thread because on the AEK site in the fixtures section it had AEK-Iraklis April 22nd :/
  3. Another name popping up is Orlando Sa from Legia Warsaw. He has had spells at AEL Limassol, Fulham, Porto and Braga. 27 years old in May. Striker
  4. Koutroubis wouldnt get it to the current AEK team. Tzanetopoulos, Kolovetsios, and Lambropoulos are all better than him. He can see for himself next season
  5. Nah it wouldn't make any sense to play once a week. But this is Greece so they most likely will be. Anyway I cant edit my original game topic post as once it exceeds 1 hour you cant edit your post so if a mod would like to change the date to 26/4/15.
  6. GK, LB, RW (Starters) CB, FW (backbups) That is what is needed. We have 3 quality CBs so I dont think CB is an absolute must. I don't rate Petravakis or Soiledis, especially against good opposition. Platellas is good but we need a better more consistent player there. This IMO is where we need a BAM. Chrisantus still has a lot to show IMO. We haven't seen enough of him (at 100% freshness) to gather an honest opinion based on his abilities, lets give him a proper chance before we grade him. Anestis could have been a beast considering his height but he has butter fingers. We need a more soild guy back there.

  8. Our magnificent club was founded on this day, April 13 1924, 91 years ago. Heres to the glory days of the past, and the new ones ahead!
  9. Not only do i not want to overspend i don't want 2 brazilians. I get that there are not that many talented Greek footballers but one thing that has made me love the current team even over our good days in 07 is that the majority are Greek. Dont get me wrong we are obviously going to have to dip into the foreign market to get some creative players but i just hope its not the vintage old Greek club case were 90% of the team is foreign aka Olympiakos.
  10. A very important player for us. Cant wait to see him boss it in the SL
  11. Apparently the interest for Scocco by us is hotting up
  12. Chrisantus looks like the happiest man on earth.
  13. I'm not sure if they have been but i got April 22nd from the AEK site.
  14. I agree I think Zoric deserves the start. He has done really well while Mantalos has been out injured. Cordero can still make an appearance at some stage if we need to see out the result once its in our favour. Up front is where the "issue" is if even you would call it that. Play Aravidis who has been our go to guy for goals this season, or bring him back in place of Platellas/Barbosa and keep the in from Chrisantus up front. Removing him could bring him back to his poor form. Who knows maybe that was due to match fitness or confidence. Either way, these are good "issues" to have
  15. Jesus i must have had a brain fart I completely forgot about Johansson haha he is the first name on the sheet so definitely starts. Word on the street is Anakoglou could have a knock but the game is nearly 2 weeks away so he should be ok. Kolovetsios I agree is better but I think this is probably the most crucial game of the Playoffs and therefore starting off with a win vs our only competition is vital and so would go with the tested Lambro-Tzane combo. Either way both will do well.
  16. The real question is who starts up front? Aravidis who was 16 goals for us this season or Chrisantus who is turning it on. I think Aravidis deserves the start however if things are looking bleak at least we have a good player to replace him or even throw on next to him. I'd go with; .......................Anestis Bak.....Lambro...........Tzane.....Soil ...........Cordero.........Anakoglou Platella.............Zoric................Barbosa .......................Aravidis
  17. AEK Iraklis Date: Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 Venue: Athens Olympic Stadium (OAKA) Competition: Football League Round: Play-Off Game 1 Time: TBA Form (left to right); WWWWW LDWDD
  18. The team Dellas has been toying with in training ahead of the game; .........................................Anestis Bakakis.......Tzanetopoulos.......Lambropoulos.......Soiledis ...................................Faye........Anakoglou Dounis..............................Grontis..........................Barbosa .........................................Aravidis Christantus was also thrown in at some stage and most likely will play.
  19. Milovanovi? has been watching Corinthians in Brazil and has been looking at an attacking midfielder called Petros and a gaolkeeper called Walter. Both Brazilian and in their mid twenties.
  20. And that is the way it is Pana97, its just that there is a minority out there whose lifes revolve around only football , a computer screen, and their left hand because there lives are so uneventful and boring.
  21. But yeah, the m*****es stay in the past. We can be normal civilized people who take part in a forum to discuss football among other things while the degenerates talk about shitting on peoples graves in there pigsty of a site. Cheers boys ;)
  22. Crucial home game vs Stoke this Saturday with our closest rivals Citeh have a tricky game away to Palace on Monday. This weekend could pretty much decide the title
