  1. Oh my God! I am so sorry for their losses! 😞😢😭 Thoughts and prayers to the victims. UEFA really should postpone this match tomorrow, lives should come first, not the football match.
  2. Well done Olympiakos! Consider that this was a very difficult group to play in, they survived the cut to make the playoffs as an unseeded side. If only they did not drop 2 points to Pafos, 13 points would be enough to be a seeded side in the playoffs and face a "lesser" opponent. Question Does Olympiakos avoid playing against teams (Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid) who they already faced in the league phase?
  3. Greece won it's first ever medal at the European Championship beating Italy 12-5 to grab bronze in Belgrade, Serbia. Serbia beat Hungary for gold.
  4. Scotland winning the group was surprising, if only had Greece got the results at home to Denmark and in Scotland, Greece would have won the group or get into the playoffs and face "Skopja" and the winners between Czech Republic-Ireland.
  5. Hi guys, is this true the Greek government are making changes regarding to immigration?
  6. Tzolakis never played any good in the last 2 matches. He is a bust!
  7. You can forget about the next match, Denmark will destroy Greece again.
  8. Scotland scored 2 goals on set pieces, this is what they wanted to do. Play a smart game.
  9. Tzolakis is suppose to be our next big "stopper". He has conceded some soft goals lately.
  10. 0-0 halftime Greece should be winning at least 1-0 Got to make the necessary changes to put more life into this Greek team
  11. Kourbelis yellow card, Jovanovic better sub him out after halftime.
  12. Greece first genuine attack should have scored an early goal, Pavlidis can do better than that.
  13. Is the Greece-Denmark match also on Fox Sports Plus?
  14. Elina Tzengko is making her debut in the World Championship Finals, finished in qualifying at 61.31 (11th place overall).
  15. Elina Tzengko will be throwing in Group B, automatic qualifying spot is 62.50. She has missed consecutive finals at the World Championships in Eugene and Budapest. There will be no excuse if she misses out again. She is in top form and should be fighting for the medals. She has been very consistent throwing over 62 meters. I read that Japanese athlete Haruka Kitaguchi, who is the defending World Champion is competing with multiple injures which explains why she performed poorly at the Diamond League Finals.
  16. He has had some bad luck this season, first the illness, then various injuries. I hope he will come back strong next year. Emmanouilidou qualify directly to the semifinals of the women's 200 meters, ran a season's best of 22.92. She will likely miss out on the finals since she will need a National Record to have a decent chance to get there.
