  1. Agree with everything you said. Have you created a device that can read my mind ? Are you from the ... future ? I've taped the recent game Sandhausen vs Schalke 1:4, and have started watching it. Got about 10 minutes in before I got interrupted so I'll check out some more later, but from what I can see Schalke looked very sharp with their passing and movement. Similar to Ajax but a slight notch higher. Having said that Sandhausen are a 2nd division team but even so I'd expect Schalke to have lots of possession and for us to be doing lots of running and covering space. It's a shame Canas might be out as this is the sort of game we really need him. Hopefully Enrique can fill the void left by Rodrigues and Biseswar can give Schalke some head aches. It's interesting, if you have a look at http://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-schalke-04/spielplandatum/verein/33 you can see Schalke started off the season playing with 4 at the back and then beginning from the 23.10.2016 (that's 10.23.2016 for those crazy yankees that still talk in inches, yards, pounds, fahrenheit and whatever other crazy measurements they use) they switched to 3 at the back and have been playing that way ever since.
  2. It's likely Skibbe will keep picking him for the NT based on the fact that he was selected even when not playing at all. Then again, he might think he's playing at too low a level but I highly doubt that.
  3. Samaras just has trouble keeping track of dates. He woke up and realized it's 2017 and that the World Cup is on next year! And thought to himself, oh s--t, I better get ready for that otherwise I won't be there! As to the state of his injury, and if he's still "got it", we'll find out soon enough.
  4. That pic of the Mystakidis goal ha ha. He looks like a dog having a pee.
  5. It wasn't the meaning I was posting about. It was the example I found amusing about the ... amazing pants.
  6. klein mein not caring or who gives a s%$#! used in greece, thessaloniki more or less. #1: oh did you know I got a new pair of pants today look how amazing they are and i am so special because I have this amazing pair of pants #2: klein mein more m#$%!.
  7. I don't think Prijovic has got 90 minutes in him. But yeah he can still start and can always take him off in the second half.
  8. I've actually read it twice. I laughed just as hard the second time. Man, this is good stuff. Having said that I hope Tziolis enjoys his time in Scotland. He's always struck me as being a decent person who doesn't stir up trouble so good luck to him. There is nothing worse than being in a team where you aren't going to get minutes so it's best for him and PAOK he moved on. And if he can be the Messiah to some crazy Scots, all the better. Ha ha, those crazy Scots.
  9. Γιεα σου ρε Don. Good to see posters from back in the day come back.
  10. Might be time to get his medication looked at.
  11. Does Matos have to sit this one out ? You'd think we need everything in our attacking arsenal to crack that Xanthi defence open. Then again, I'd say Ivic has done the sums and deduced that we're now in a strong enough position as far as the play-offs are concerned so he's willing to take a chance.
  12. Warda played the whole game in the Cup of Nations final. I think this was the first game in the tournament where he played the full 90 minutes.
  13. Loving it ha ha.
  14. Anything pre 2000 seems to get the kids confused. By the way, it was a horrible horrible show from what little I remember of it.
  15. No chance Tzandaris would get into the squad now. At best he would be 5th choice after Canas, Cimirot, Shakhov and Charisis. There is still Kace as well. If the reason for Tzandaris leaving PAOK was due to not being happy at the club then fair enough. If it was because Olympiakos offered him a much better contract, again fair enough. But if he went to Olympiakos because he thought he could actually get a game there, well, he's an idiot and his manager buried him.
  16. Really liked Eleftheropoulos's comments. I thought he was dignified and respectful which is a rare commodity these days for managers. His admiration for Cimirot and his comment about him being able to play at a higher level was noteworthy. On a side note, how PUMPED was Henrique. Great to see.
  17. Waiting for this guy ?
  18. If you want to have a really good read, get your favourite drink and check out the link below. Take your time, read all the posts, it's well worth it. http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/index.php?/topic/167021-tziolis/
  19. Good win. GOOD WIN! Nice to see the team not give up when things didn't go their way.
  20. Thanks Rodrigues! Sorry, couldn't resist.
  21. I seriously have to quite smoking. I went out for a cigarette and missed two goals.
  22. That would be something. I hope so.
  23. Nice to see a striker who is actually a real threat in the air.
  24. Time to get Prijovic on I say.
