I've never understood the taking of one side or the other. Both are guilty. The idea that the cops are completely innocent is farcical and is the idea that all cops are bad. Likewise for black people. The simple truth is that for a long time, if you were a bad cop it was relatively easy to get away with violence or worse. And this has lead to the situation we have today where it's a powder keg. How could it be otherwise ? Change is required by the police. There is no alternative. The transgressions of the past can't be repeated, not in today's world. They can't be brushed aside like in the past. Having said that how any sane person would want to be a police officer in that environment is beyond me. There was an incident I saw a while back where a police office shot a black man (there was a woman in the passenger seat) while the man was reaching over to get identification from the glove box. The thought I had running through my head was "How on earth is this man a police officer ?" because either he had serious PTSD (fair enough) or he was just a cold blooded killer. Either way, he should not even be a police officer.

Agree. I think in time Tudor would've come good, it was still his first coaching gig and the team was showing more good signs than bad. It's all in the past now and Ivic is doing well and hopefully just gets better.

Regardless of the formation, the team will need to be setup so that we can retain as much of the ball as possible. If the midfield sit so deep that when we do finally get the ball we're just forced to turn it over again, then we're in trouble. No defence can withstand 90 minutes of constant pressure. It'll be interesting to see how Ivic sets the team up.

Merging with machines and consciousness are not the same. And even merging with machines creates weird scenarios. For example, let's say we could make a complete copy of your brain and store that on a machine. You die shortly after. Using cloning technology or some other technology a body is grown. It's got everything except the brain. We get a brain that's been grown, do a format brain: in Windows 42, to make sure it's completely clean with no data, and then copy the data from the machine to the brain. The brain is then inserted into the freshly grown body. Voila! You're back! But is that you ? What if I did the same procedure but with two bodies ?!?! Which one is "you" ? And hence the conundrum. The answer I believe, is that neither of them is you. The "you" that died was a unique "version" or "copy" and it's well and truly gone. Just like when you run a program on a computer. It's executing a copy of the program that is unique. If you end that copy and then run a second copy shortly thereafter, even if the result is the same, they were a different instance of the same program. This is all gets weird quite quickly. And I'm sure if the technology was available, the temptation for loved ones to bring back someone deceased will be strong and in their mind to hell with philosophical questions. I'll refer this one to @Tzatziki who from what I can tell is the only moderator who participates regularly in this thread. Are you saying he's obtuse or just a coward ? To clarify, there isn't a moderator who checks every post on the forum and there never will be. If you have an issue, the only way to guarantee that moderators know about it, is to bring it to their attention ie. to report it. Calling out a moderator(s), I don't see how that will help you get what you want.

Flat game. No real urgency or energy in our game. Maybe the players are saving themselves for Schalke or maybe it was the rotation. Either way, we didn't play bad but not real good either.
