Oh Mystakidis. He tried to reach Boston with that shot.
-
Biseswar doing a Foutounis.
-
Ha ha, Biseswar sent him flying.
-
About time Charisis takes a shot. He's got a decent shot on him.
-
Hopefully Warda gets a run so we can see him in action. Very curious about this player.

Platanias - PAS Giannina 2 : 2

Never tried it but I think it might be time.

Ha ha, he was TERRIBLE in the first half of the season. Seriously made me wonder why we signed him. Very glad he proved me wrong and then some.

Damn dodgy ads on dodgy streams. One day Nova might get their s**t together and provide an actual legit quality streaming service. I will give you my money Nova. Akoute ?
-
Klaus nice first touch. Instead of control and shoot it bounced 2 feet away from his foot.

Matos and Leovac both getting a rest before for the Schalke game. Any idea how many games Henrique is banned for ?

http://www.vipleague.co/football/451357/2/xanthi-fc-vs-paok-live-stream-online.html Takes ages to get rid of the damn ads blocking the screen though. It's like they won't let you click to get rid of them for a couple of minutes.

At this stage the idea of a machine that is truly conscious is in the realm of sci-fi. Maybe it always will be. It certainly won't be in our life times as romantic (or scary) as the concept is. If we're talking about machines that can "act" like they're people, that is definitely feasible. Not any time soon, but it's just a matter of time. If the programming was broad and complex enough and the computational power sufficient you'd have a machine that for all intents and purposes "looks like" it's a human. You'd probably have some "base" programming where all the machines are the same and other things could be up to the machine. When I say up to the machine, it's still just following its programming but maybe makes selections/choices that aren't important (e.g. what it's favourite colour is) in a random number generator sort of fashion. Then again, maybe we're doing the same thing except in our case the programming code is in our DNA.

What's rational ? To many posters Trump becoming president is irrational. And yet Trump's victory can be explained in one sentence - f**k you against the establishment. So if instead Hillary became president would this be a more rational choice by voters ? Sure, she might throw them some scraps but she's a blue blood. She couldn't relate to the common man if she tried. The key thing to note (at least for me) is that a lot of people have lost or are losing faith in the establishment and the political class. Syriza, Greek Referendum, Brexit, Trump are all results against the establishment. They may not appear to be logical to some, but to myself they make perfect sense. Whether I personally agree with the results is of no relevance to what I see is happening.

The igloo of iniquity ? Do you have hidden cameras installed ? Where can I put my cigarette butts ?

Yes. Although I'm also relieved that it wasn't worse.

I'm having an existential crisis. I always figured myself a liberal because well I'm not conservative so I must therefore be liberal. And the other day, I see my two lesbian neighbours going for it, in the front yard and it just so happens I live opposite a high school. I mean, they were getting pretty hot and heavy. So I say, "Hey girls, maybe take it inside, school will be out soon". And one of them (the butch one) turns to me and says "f**k you, I ain't breaking no laws". I wasn't sure what to say to that. She was scary when angry. Maybe I am a conservative and never knew it.

Superb show by the way.

Of course it's ok! Really, I thought you're a man of the world. It's pretty clear though it's not ok in the eyes of most but what can they do about it ? They know they've been duped. But nothing short of rioting (and I mean serious prolonged rioting) will sway the governments and institutions that have allowed this to happen to change their approach. Why they're so hell bent on it, who can say ? Maybe it's just every man for himself.

Sheez, we're going to need to start putting in minimum release clauses into the manager contracts now ?! Having said that, let's see how the rest of the season pans out. I'm sure if we lose some form the howls for blood will begin.

Most posters know that both sites exists. If they want to be on both forums they can be. I only caught the tail end of the greeksoccer.com "schism" and I can tell you if anything like that starts up here posters would be banned in short order. greeksoccer.com had a lot of cool posters but the mud-slinging was next level s%$#!. As far as groups of fans, for me, all were to blame. The wise ones usually just kept out of it and ignored it because really it was all farcical and petty. The way everything has panned out is probably for the best.

So basically after 5 seasons we finally found a decent manager and he might be poached by the Chinese. How much is Ivic on at PAOK ?
-
A lot came across in the first few months but as you'd expect not everyone. I don't think everyone knew about phantis. I wouldn't be surprised, assuming Greece can qualify for the 2018 World Cup, to see a lot of old posters come back next year.

Agree with everything you said. Have you created a device that can read my mind ? Are you from the ... future ? I've taped the recent game Sandhausen vs Schalke 1:4, and have started watching it. Got about 10 minutes in before I got interrupted so I'll check out some more later, but from what I can see Schalke looked very sharp with their passing and movement. Similar to Ajax but a slight notch higher. Having said that Sandhausen are a 2nd division team but even so I'd expect Schalke to have lots of possession and for us to be doing lots of running and covering space. It's a shame Canas might be out as this is the sort of game we really need him. Hopefully Enrique can fill the void left by Rodrigues and Biseswar can give Schalke some head aches. It's interesting, if you have a look at http://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-schalke-04/spielplandatum/verein/33 you can see Schalke started off the season playing with 4 at the back and then beginning from the 23.10.2016 (that's 10.23.2016 for those crazy yankees that still talk in inches, yards, pounds, fahrenheit and whatever other crazy measurements they use) they switched to 3 at the back and have been playing that way ever since.

It's likely Skibbe will keep picking him for the NT based on the fact that he was selected even when not playing at all. Then again, he might think he's playing at too low a level but I highly doubt that.
