Reading the news few names have been thrown around like Fink and also Puel. Fink for me I don't think would be good, seems to leave teams in a s%$#! way, only did well at Basel and lets be serious it wouldn't be hard to do that in Switzerland. The other name is Claude Puel, now this guy has plenty of experience and I think would be a decent choice for us, has coached all his life in France and has a wealth of experience. Wonder how long it will be before we know who the coach will be.

Original don't disagree with what you have above I think its right on the money. For me I would go for 2 CB with 1 being an experienced one to guide Kolovetsios around and another as back up. I would also go get a winger because as you said we got Barbosa, Aravidis, Vargas and Platellas, we need more talent out there, who knows they may even put Bakasetas out wide as I cant see him taking Mandalos spot. Lastly and as we all know we need a striker ASAP and one with a killer instinct, I would take Vellios in a heart beat the guy was scoring goals for fun in an average side last season, imagine what he could do with us especially since we create so many chances but lack the finishing touch. Djebbour is getting on, Pekhart is a good weapon off the bench, Brecevic who knows what's going on there and as for Maki, well the less said the better lol.... But before we worry about which players to bring in we need to get a coach, no use in getting players if they don't suit the coaches style.

Must win game this one, destiny is in our hands now with PAO and PAOK coming to us, win both of those matches and we are in a good position. One step at a time though. Good to have Barbosa back and good timing also, I would start him and maybe Platellas on the other wing as they are more fresh than the others, I know some may not agree but I would give Aravidis a rest also. Let Barbosa and Platellas run at them as their defence isn't the best either. Just hope our boys aren't tired and fatigued, im sure the crowd will also do what they can to lift them team in the one.

We got Djebbour and Pekhart, oh and the super star Christhanus lol but Vellios is what we need, too many times we create a heap of chances and aren't clinical, Aravidis was a good example when he played up top, Pekhart hasn't had much effect but I just don't think he is what we need, Djebbour has picked it up lately but again his age is getting the better of him and his attitude stinks sometimes, this is why I would do all I can to get Vellios, that's IF they haven't scouted anyone from elsewhere....

I agree on Berg he must start but with Euros coming up he will hardly have time off so you can kind of expect him to start slow next season, but if that above can click then you are in good shape up front

Yeah I read that also that's why I say others are after him also, which is normal as he had a good season in an average side. Good luck to whoever gets him, if you guys get him you think he will start over Berg or would he play 2 upfront?

Would he have even played there or be considered because lets be honest he is a talent and if he was to go there he would most likely be loaned out as they did to the other young Greeks they signed, atleast with us he is guaranteed game time and most likely a starting spot. Now if we can get Vellios we are on a good path, but will be hard as many are after him.

Panionios is spewing as they have no power in this situation plus there is plenty of talk they had agreed for him to go to Oly but he refused to go and wanted AEK, another reason why they dropped him over night, they bombed their chances big time with this action they took.

How did Sevilla not score in all that time Barca were down to 10 men, shame. I agree with the posts above yes CL would be awesome but its a tough ask to win both rounds of qualifying and I don't think AEK is ready for CL just yet, Europa is a good stepping stone in our 1st season back, but now we gota go through the qualifiers since Sevilla lost.... As for the game tonight, huge game for both teams, we need to avoid losing, a win would be brilliant but a draw doesn't hurt us in anyway, hope the boys are up for it and with our confidence on a high from the last week we have had and PAO losing that form they had toward season end I think its a good time to play them but this game can go either way, all comes down to which teams comes out to play and wants it more. This would be a fantastic signing, I did hear that someone claimed that we have already got him, also said he is also an AEK fan. Would be a fapa to Oly if we signed him and they didn't. If we get Bakasetas and Vellios dam we are on a good path for next season.

Good points boys about the players and them lifting with Poyet leaving. Djebbour has been a different players and Johanssen has been his normal self, platellas also did well today given the lack of time he's been given but with Vargas out and Barbosa missing another 2 games I think it is he will surely get more time. That Bakasetas can hit a ball,some of those shots were rockets thankfully Anestis was on his good day considering the one he copped midweek,but if we could get Bakasetas and Vellios dam we would be a threat and adding a CB also, but those 2 you'd have to go all out for them as they can make a difference and would take pressure off Mandalos at times.

Big win and massive confidence boost for us,good to see Mandalos finding his form again at the perfect time. Platellas had a good game also considering he hasn't seen the field in a while. We had 3 penalty claims, I'd say 2 were penalties for sure,but we got the 3 and that's all that matters. Onto next match vs PAO, must avoid losing there a draw is a good result but a win there could gives us a good lead over the rest. Bravo Aekara

I think getting Berba was a good move for PAOK and also for Greek Football considering the shambles it is in currently. We need players like him to come so it gives the league some exposure, ok it may have not worked out the way everyone would've wanted but the fact these Greek teams can attract these players, gives others hope they can get players of his calibre in the future.....

Akritis thanks mate didn't realise there were no PAO players, but that's what I have been told in regards to the players from the guy who runs Galanolefkos Faros (Greek supporter group) also said players are leaving Greece 31st May so it really does count out the players involved in playoffs as the last game is currently scheduled for 31st May
