    Chamakh wow, I bagged the s%$#! out of him while he was at Arsenal, never rated him much, the guy struggles to score goals and I think its a bad option. So over this off season of false hope, honestly thought he would bring a couple big names to help us get into Europa, honestly don't think the current team has enough to qualify for Europa but hope I am wrong.

    What a farce this off season has been , started well by bringing in Bakasetas and Barkas and Chygrynsky (if that's how you spell it) and since then done nothing, I don't blame Katsbaia for coming out and saying what he said yesterday, the teams needs new blood and we aren't getting it, I cant see Ketsbaia leaving halfway through and if he does good on him since he isn't given the tools he needs to succeed

    Surely we could spend a mill or 2 on a striker considering we have sold Arzo and soon enough will sell Diego too its not like the money isn't there gamoto.... We have signed some decent players and also some squad players which will help out when needed but we cant rely on Pekhart and Aravidis up front its not enough for us. On the 15th we also find out our opposition for Europa, it wont be easy qualifying either with 2 rounds of qualifying, lets just hope we avoid teams like West Ham....

    Of course we will have different opinions, but fact is you cant blame the whole team as you did, defence stats show they did their job, front line didn't when it mattered most.

    Pana the blame will always be on Messi as he is regarded the best player in the world, same with Ronaldo when Portugal fail. Baggio took Italy to WC finals too doesn't mean anything when you don't rise to the occasion in the final, that's where the big players get their recognition. I don't see how the whole team was at fault for losing each final though, in last 2 Copa America finals, Argentina's defence didn't concede a goal so to say the whole team is at fault is wrong, defence did their job the front line didn't. Its the old saying defence wins you titles, attackers win you matches.

    I wasn't really hung up on Fletcher wasn't my type of player and I don't think he is the striker who will score 20 for us, could be wrong but just don't see it in him. I really don't get how we have lacked in options up front, what do our scouts actually look for in a striker? Everyone else seems to get a decent front man except us, very frustrating.

    Agree Amo he is not a starter player but would be a good squad player, 20 assists and 11 goals last season says enough.

    Also guys has anyone else read the rumour of Aaron Mooy coming to AEK on loan since he just signed for City? I think he would be great for AEK and he is a talent BUT where do you put him to play as Mandalos cant be dropped?

    Wonder which team offered that for Mandalos. Either way its good to see our players are being sighted by clubs, players like Mandalos Simeos and Johanssen in time can be sold for good value.

    Compared to last season I would say its way better and we aren't done yet. And really who cares if one has more money than the other? Doesn't mean you just pump money in for the F*** of it.
