He can play striker and also #10, but he wont be taking Mandalos spot so I see him playing as a 2nd striker. Also think he can be played on the wing. Deadly left foot and can hit a free kick too. Top signing this one. 300 on Baka and 700 on Barkas, Meli is keeping a few mouths closed now after being labelled a tightass by our own fans.

I know Depo struggled and they also had money issues, didn't watch much of their games though. Ohwell atleast at Oly he has the finances behind him

Correct Ethinkos the loser of the kypello would play if a team did the double OR they could always play 2nd in the league (as an option)

I was actually shocked they put him there but everyone deserves a chance, time will tell if he is the right man. This talk of him being the man behind Michel's success yes it may be true, but if he was so good and tactical why didn't they go for him right after Michel is the only thing that makes me wonder. Anyway all the best to him.

Some guys have made good points on Messi but fact is a TRUE footballer will always continue to hunt for trophies. Everyone bags Ronaldo yet he gives it his all when playing so he can win trophies and he doesn't have half the talent in his team that Messi has. Messi took the easy way out and like I have always said, he will now be remembered as the best club player ever, nothing more. Ronaldo has made 1 final at that was at a young age when we made him cry yet time after time he still represents Portugal proudly. Maybe those who bag Ronaldo can now throw some at Messi too, for me he is a coward for retiring, but something tells me he will be in Russia. -
Sad that we have let Cordero go, a guy who stayed with us at our worst times, he deserves all the respect from every fan of ours. Not surprised about the other sold/released. As for new players, plenty of talk and names been thrown around but that's all it has been, we need to get moving and become active and get players signed so they can have a few sessions with the team before our Europa qualifiers come up.

Was hoping we would go for a striker with a good scoring record, this isn't a terrible option but surely we could find better.

Original I read last week that we have Zuculini for next season also. SO far we have signed some decent players, good to see them doing business early and going for the right players we need. I think the striker will be the last player we sign. Would be good to get another CB, Juan Kala would be great if they could bring him. Papers are saying Katsar will sign by end of the week, not a bad move as he has experience.

So far we have brought in some decent players, Dmitry will be a good asset for us, he is the leader like CB we are needing, lets hope it just pans out well as he does have the experience we need. Barkas is a great addition and the kid has talent and at 21 can only get better with age. Talk of another CB coming in and I hope its Kala, my mate who took the photo with him at Cordero wedding said he does really want to come back and I think it would be a good thing for us and also gives us depth. Striker talk has gone quiet so think they will leave that for last, but lets hope its someone clinical with a good scoring record

As bad as it was the more attention they get the more they laugh and get what they set out to achieve. This is not the 1st time they have trashed the game or fans and it surely wont be the last. Labelling them soccer street terrorists made me laugh and I said it the day before they will label us terrorists soon and within 24 hours they did just that. One thing that I didn't agree with there was a page on FB Greek Australian Pride I think it was, after all that was said and done by the media these guys were actually posting and asking people who were interested in speaking to the media as they were on their way back to Adelaide, my problem with that is why would you even consider speaking to the media after the trashing they gave us Greeks? You think they actually care what our response would be? F*** the media and if they did speak to them then they are dickheads the lot of them.

That's my point he's an upgrade for sure and since no other names have been thrown around (yet) this guy wouldn't be the worst option.

Talk again of us going for Chygrynskiy from Dnipro, would be a good option and an upgrade from Arzo, he has experience and that's what we are lacking.

Some good options for keeper now with these 2 guys, good way to start the new season, Anestis and Baroja can be good on their day but they can also have a master degree in stupidity at times also, one will leave surely. Lets see who we go for next we need an experienced CB first then worry about the rest.

I agree PAOKSYD the young guys came in and showed hunger and why they were picked, which is something we haven't been able to say about our players in a long time, so credit to them. Mandalos took the goal well but lets not forget he worked very hard in a position he hasn't played very much (right midfield) so credit to him. Bakasetas did well also but feel as a 10 he should be looking more for the ball or playing off Vellios a lot more as there were times Vellios had it and no one was around him but these are small issues that can easily be fixed. Staf did good at LB also, not fantastic but he gets his job done and I give credit to Holevas, I can be his harshest critic as he left a sour taste in my mouth after Euro 2012 but that left mid role he played he did it well and almost got a goal out of it. So there are some good things to take out from last nights game and surely this can give them belief. Also said it earlier but add Manolas, Fortounis, Karelis and also Mr Mykonos and we can be a threat to many teams. -

Give them some time and hopefully the chemistry can improve under Skibbe, he has a big job but going by last night he is on the right path. With Manolas to go into the backline, throw Fortounis in at #10 (as he is much more creative than Bakasetas who is also young) and then Karelis and Mitroglou upfront and we are a strong side. BUT they need to have this attitude all the time, not every 5 games. If they put all the s%$#! aside, focus on their football and work as a unit then we can make it to Russia -

OH if that team above can have the same attitude like last night and show the same heart then they can achieve a lot. Lets not forget this team can stay together for atleast 2-3 tournaments also so lets hope it falls into place for them as there is massive talent in the 11 and also on the bench -
The commentators became bitter like the players when they went 2-0 down. F*** that Andy Harper needs a boot to the face....
