  1. I will say this he nailed it in regards to super league fan support and overrated foreign players. There has to be more home grown talent I remember seeing I believe PAOK 11 not one greek player or maybe 1 its ridiculous. Too much focus in greece on being a hooligan over playing football..

  2. Maybe the rage can be like the old days and we get banned for 5 years from Europe. Ah those were the days.

  3. Prouder ? Maybe psefto pride. I can tell you what we were back then - we were poorer, unorganised and lacking trophies. We were the bitches of Athens with no owner who could stand up for the club (because that’s how it works in Greece unfortunately). All we had were our european nights (and they were good) the occasional derby win against POK (but we knew deep down we would not win the title) and the fans/Toumba ( but the fans even shat on that by getting us banned for 5 years). We would pay our players peanuts and even then fail to pay them and have to release them or sell our talented players. Shameful and worse, embarrassing. I’ll take what we have now over that. I’ll take having a respectable budget, 4 Cups, 1 League title thanks. I do agree with you the signings have been fairly disappointing this summer - I expected better - but compared to the old days, man, you needed Xanax to get through those days - they were rough.

  6. Congrats to Raducanu, simply played better and was much quicker than Sakkari. Sakkari just played a total opposite than what she played throught the U.S. Open. Is it time to realize Sakkari's opportunity to win her first grand slam is running out?

  7. Against Georgia, 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 at least I really want to see Saliakas or Kotsiras at RB, have a Galanopoulos or Siopis in the middle, and have Masouras/Tzolis on the left with Pelkas on CAM (although it will be Bakasetas or Baka at CAM and Pelkas hand on the right) and Douvikas up front. See how Giakoumakis does in the next month but he could be in the mix also. Ultimately, dont need 3 CB's and only 3 attacking players in that game, go back to what we used to do which helped create chances that we are not doing now (but for the last 30 mins vs Sweden) Against Sweden a similar approach that we saw yesterday

  9. This is kind of a weird perspective but i've been stirring over this over the last couple of days If we could take 4 points from Kosovo and Sweden before those games, would we take it? (so 1 win 1 draw) I would almost say.. yes.. not the best scenario but also not the worst. Sweden are on a winning streak so hard to beat, a draw might be a good result here. Then Kosovo is the must win. So lets say we accept 4 points there. It's actually better to take 3 points from Sweden than from Kosovo, we have to come 2nd in the group, so you could argue Spain is going to run away with it, Sweden is our main rival. So letting sweden have a point instead of Kosovo is actually worse of. So basically what im saying is, this was the 2nd best scenario/result over the last 2 games that we could have hoped for.
