  4. No idea what to say on Berba...... I think the only way you ever find the truth on these matters is if you live the team, training, etc. What i will say is when you bring a player like Berba to a league like Greece and you want to keep the momentum going you need to style your play around him, if you dont want to do this, then you should never of signed him and worked on normal signings. What i do believe needs to be done is another big singing to take the heat off Berba and show the world we really are a big club like we think we are and like we want to be and not one hit wonders!!!

  5. Hi Guys, PAOK fan from birth, from Sydney , Australia. Such a frustrating season to date, experiment has so far failed on the pitch and the crowds and enthusiam from the fans shows this for me. The only real difference in approach this season has seen Paok purchase players that if dont work have credentials to be onsold and no big losses will occur for Paok and Savvidis unlike what we saw in the last couple of seasons before this one, where PAOK was dropping big contracts on players who didn't perform and money went down the drain. This current crop is all 24 years of age and under and most players would easily be able to be flogged off to Turkish, Belgium leagues and even Russia. From my point of view im in two minds about Tudor....... Mind A - hes junk, team is playing like rubbish, hes had now 7 months to play some decent football with an ok squad and weve only seen football in patches and only two real games we showed quality. Like come on needing to waste time in the 90th to beat Panionios, yes they are playign well but why arent we? Our squad worth 5 times are much, our behind team staff they could only dream off, so really no excuse..... Mind B - im sick of chnaging coaches every feb and bringing quick fix solutions that end up making things worse, then waiting till end of june for a new coach and then waiting till August for players and a new system.......

  6. Yup, they ripped Jeep off for 2 million euros for that one season I read. Unbelievable amount of income brought in. And they charged 200 euros for season tickets last year in the middle of a crisis. Saving money is not an excuse for this team anymore. It comes down to stinginess.

  8. Here is the jersey commemorating the 90 years of PAOK. It is based on the jersey worn by PAOK in 1965-1966. There is a picture of Koudas wearing this jersey. I believe Pontos used to have this pic as his avatar. Very nice jersey in my opinion, and I will be getting one for sure. Also I heard that the team might be wearing this jersey in tomorrow's game against Atromitos.

  9. Let me get this straight now... for decades Greece was paying 15%+ of revenue on interest payments. In 1995, Greece was spending 25% of revenue on interest payments. In 2000, they got it down to 16%. From 1995 onwards, our debt to gdp ratio was always above 100%. Between 95 and mid 08, Ireland's was always below 60%, reaching as low as 28%. Greece has had the highest ratio of revenue to gdp in comparison to Ireland and Germany starting at 31%, 15% and 8% respectively, in 1995. Iceland, Portugal, Greece, Ireland, U.S, Spain, Italy, and the rest of the world had financial problems, at the same time, with Iceland's banks having borrowed 10x their national gdp, Ireland had a housing bubble, U.S banks intertwining to create a financial bubble, and your view, after all this info, is that 50 year old retired hairdresser Voula is responsible for the Greek financial crisis. Not only that, but Syriza, who have been in power for one year and a couple of days, is the problem. Harshest austerity imposed, pensions feeding entire families, welfare cuts, tax hikes, workers haven't been paid in months, and yet, Syriza who tried to stand up to the EU and IMF where wrong to do that. Is Syriza to blame for the EU considering removing Greece from the Schengen area to stem refugees from entering Europe? A nation suffering all these years not only has to deal with the influx of Muslim refugees but the EU's plan of blocking the borders for Greece, keeping millions of refugees in an already strained, dilapidated nation while giving gifts to the tune of 3 billion euro to Turkey. Great "help" there from the EU. After all, they did handle the Greek bailout so well. Wake the F up. Bonus points! It's weird how when Socratis Kokkalis wants a 4 star Uefa rated stadium, it's built in "record" time. Maybe the red tape machine stopped working those 14 months and the government workers where on holidays. It's also weird how interconnected all our proud billionaires are with the political class. Being involved with government projects and assets. Also weird how Oligarchs popped up in Russia when Putin took over and privatized some assets and made sweet deals for his buddies who went on to make billions at the expense of the public. But I guess Russia = communists, so they're evil, while U.S.A keeps mentioning "freedom" so they're good guys, and Greece is just lazy and mooching off the system. There's no pattern here or anywhere else on earth where wealthy and well connected people use their influence to change laws or purchase public assets on the cheap, that favors them to make billions of dollars. No where. Microsoft, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Gazprom, Itracom, Aegean Marine Petroleum, Apple, Samsung, Siemens, HSBC, GE, etc. It's all that bitch Voula's fault.

  13. I would love to see statistics from the club about what merchandise is purchased from abroad and how many items. Would be cool to know how many jerseys for example are bought online from sweden, australia, usa etc. I guess if the numbers are so low like under 100 jerseys they wouldnt want to publish it but would be cool to know.

  14. PAE AEK made a huge amount of profit the past two seasons through OPAP sponsorships and TV deals. The OPAP sponsorships especially covered all of the costs. There is NO REASON not to spend 500k euros now on players to guarantee we make 7 million euros in bonuses from playing in the one Champions League qualifying round.

  16. What's interesting is that he isn't very known in Sweden but he's still touring 17 places in N.A, 6 places in Australia and N.Z, and 15 places in Europe.

  17. Reaper I'm not saying to build our team to be the best top 2 teams in the league, i'm mean we will need to be patient to compete with oly for the title and I know a lot of aek fans who expected us to win the league the second year back. But after they have seen we have not spent any money they know they have to be patient and wait maybe a few more years until we can compete for the title
