Well, he is our best CB at the moment. He saved our butts a couple of times as well. Yes it's his job, but he's good at it. If you have a job to do and are good at it, say the best at your company, wouldn't you say you've done a good job? He's not a world beater defender. He's not even prime Varela. But defensively, he has been very solid for us. He's playing as a no-nonsense CB. It isnt his job to play long balls in the air. Like I always defend Esiti. Esiti is good at his job, F****ing things up in the midfield for opponents.

Marcel Koller's preferred formation is a 4-2-3-1 which is very defensive in modern football. Poyet's is a 4-3-3. Looking at Koller's international performances (he has never beaten Greece btw). He qualified for the 2016 Euro Championships and was undefeated in qualifiers (vs Russia, Sweden, Montenegro, Lichenstein, Moldova). Sportime,gr is saying that Poyet is the front runner for the job. I would prefer Koller as he did a good job with the Austrian NT.

I believe Poyet is about to be confirmed.

Ill take Marcel Koller. He has national team experience. Brought Austria as high ranked as #10 in the world. Has had successful qualifying campaigns. And Austria isnt a world power at soccer either, so hopefully he would be able to build something here too
