  1. Biseswar was pathetic, and I don't see him securing a spot at PAOK when he gets back. Having said that though I think he was one of the better Surinam players. At least in the 2nd half that I saw. If he wants to have any chance to compete for PAOK he will need to shed some kilograms as well.

  2. Well the moment many of us feared(especially @pash) has arrived.... Warda was kicked out of training by Lucescu. The report I read stated the Warda made a mistake on the ball and kicked another ball away in frustration, Lucescu confronted him and they started yelling at each other. It remains to be seen whether this is serious enough for it to be the end of Warda at PAOK (again) or if it will be something resolved inhouse and we move on. https://www.paok24.com/preseason/274205/adoxo-telos-stin-proponisi-gia-oyarnta/

  3. There must be a structure issue in Greece. Clearly our players aren’t developing. We need to be playing our best players possible. We can’t afford to be leaving out players with skill and speed. We aren’t Italy, Spain or Portugal. Manolas and Sokratis should still be playing. It’s what’s best for the team. I still can’t believe we are relying on a 33 year old Tzavellas and an injury prone Papadopoulos, who I like and I think he’s still good but he doesn’t deserve to play over Siovas, Manolas and Sokratis I believe. Bakasetas at CAM and Bakakis, it’s a mess. We seem to have good youth but they fail to go to that next step and there development I think is hindered because of the way the academies in Greece are being run. I think Olympiakos is the only decent club with a decent academy in Greece. We aren’t nurturing our players properly. We’ve had players like Ninis, Fetfatzidis, Katidis, Gianniotas and Vellios who all showed talent at a young age and Greece have failed to make them evolve into superstars. Now I’m seeing players like Tzolis, Alexandropoulos, Pinakas, Tzolakis and Kalogeropoulos perform well in the league and I hope they can make better careers for themselves. As they are future of the national team.

  5. So, once upon a time, and for 99% of the humanity's experience, there were many diseases that would maim and kill, from little children to grown adults. Those natural afflictions were equal-opportunity enemies of health. Rich & powerful people would have their children die too. FD Roosevelt got polio in his 30s and was an invalid for the rest of his life. Then we were given a choice by modern medicine: vaccines. What we found out is that vaccines, and modern medicine, have vastly improved human health, longevity, and happiness. Life span alone (on the average) doubled within 100 years. On the other hand, you can choose conspiracy theories, misinformation, and wilful ignorance..... which is pretty much how most people lived their lives for ever. But, they took risks, and sometimes were rewarded for taking a chance. Or, when they figured out that every action, every tool, every food, etc, had some risk but they weighed that against benefit. Today, we still take calculated risks, but some of us don't understand ..statistics. Like the chance of dying in an automobile crash is much higher than getting the COVID19 vaccine, while the effects of the virus are much more likely to be harmful. Yet.... By the way, even though it's effective, I think it's disgusting that we have to bribe people into doing the right thing for themselves and for the community.
