  1. That line is a fuk'n joke just like this coach. Bakashitas is so f'n garbage I never wanna see that mf anywhere near the team again. Samaris needs to be sat down for a bit. If you have zeca out there, you don't need Samaris as well. Can these mf coaches just put 2 actual wingers on at once?! Whys it always 1 winger and one cm out of position. Are these bozos on f'n crack?!

  2. Com'on, this is not a good argument..... "they have you where they want you..." If so then, can it be argued that you could be a victim of ...those who "they have YOU where they want you"? Also, you seem to argue that the "leave" supporters got things* right but the "remain" ones are deceived... *as far as any reasonable observer (not casual observer) would tell you that the worst misinformation campaign came from the Brexiteers. Those who voted to remain basically said we know what we've got and we like it. It'd have been harder to confuse the ones who have had the EU experience already! I also noticed you've said several times.... "let's keep having a referendum until Remain wins"..... Could you tell us who is actually saying this??!! Even if the winners of the Brexit poll weren't misinformed [in my mind they were VERY misinformed, but let's just say they weren't].... After many years of trying to leave the EU there has been NO consensus on how to do it, plus many more problems surfaced since. This issue has sucked the air out of the room.... and eventually the gov/PM has fallen. It's not at all unreasonable, under these circumstances to have a second poll on the issue, which basically the choice would be, leave with no plan and all its consequences... Much like the Greek poll about the EU's plan for Greece. Of course the "NO" voters expected something else. In my opinion they were lied to and/or they wanted to believe whatever made them feel better but was totally unreal. If you had told them, look, if you vote NO, not only your gov won't do what bullsh*t they sold you, but the terms of the bailout will be worse and this stupid gamble would cost (as it did) tens of millions more in interest rates and terms after the poll. Sounds familiar?

  4. The U21 won 5-0 today. Two goals Kambetsis, two goals Pavlidis and one goal Vrousai.

  5. The corrupt EPO at that time decided to get rid of Santos for some unknown reason. They were making his life miserable while he was leading the national team to our second best showing in international competition in the World Cup. They even refused to let him return back to Greece with the team after the competition pretty much telling him they did not want him on the team. That was the beginning of the NT downfall, which included disasters such as losses to team like Feroe Islands, etc.

  6. Achilleas Salamouras renewed his contract too. No info till when exactly. He probably also will be out on loan. The kid only has to be tought to wear other clothes when singning a contract. Or something decent or something from the manufacturer of our kit: https://inpaok.com/570844/ananeose-o-salamouras-pics/

  7. couldn't have said it better myself... To add couple more points.... No deal Brexit is like a divorce where parties don't agree and that's very bad for everyone. It will be utterly stupid if we end up going down that road.... I am happy for Boris to go there and negotiate harder and get a better deal (as he's stated), it will be better for all of us living in Britain. However - judgement day for me will be what happens if he doesn't get what he wants.... which is most likely what WILL happen.... This is a negotiation (=compromise) and no matter what the outcome, those stupid hard Brexiteers will never be satisfied. My attempt to predict the future. The good scenario. The way things are now (looking at the 11 candidates), 2nd referendum (or peoples' vote - call it what you want) is unlikely. Boris wins easily, Boris goes to EU gets a slightly better deal (I mean - you wouldn't even notice!!), sells it (falsely) to Parliament as a "great win" but marginally wins the vote in the Commons (swing vote from some soft remainers). The bad scenario: dont even want to think about it... PS - Hot off the press. Amber Rudd says that if Boris tries to do anything stupid, MPs will block him and we will go for a general election. And then I am afraid there will be total chaos..... (Someone must write a book how a modern, forward and outward looking country, always looking to form alliances, always looking to progress, turned itself into an introverted, problematic, extreme right, populist, self-inflicted mess in 3 years... Bravo......)

  8. We should have kept Santos. He just led portugal to another title. Portugal's 2nd. Portugal are the inaugural winners of the League of Nations cup. Bravo portugal bravo Santos. What could have been if you stayed in Greece.

  9. Took me the same too. What a joke we were I only watched the first half. Mainly as I'd given up after that but also my Agnoa Sport stream kept freezing in the second half every two minutes. In the end I switched to the Cyprus game but that was doing the same (I've requested a refund). My Cypriot friend who watched the first half was saying. The Greek team has everything a Football team should have tall strong players but there doesn't seem to be any team play between them. They're was a separation between the defense and midfield, unlike the Italians who were moving and passing fluidly. I didn't get a chance to sit and watch the game until Italy started knocking them in. We just seemed all at sea, without a game plan. For one of the goals Samaris tried a clumsy challenge and once he was beaten no one was covering (God knows where Zeca was) and the player had aches of space to move up and take his shot. Poor defending for that and, actually all of the goals! The one thing that our team was known for, having a solid defense seems to have deserted us. But when the team lines-up without a striker and a midfield that seems to operate as a separate entity to the defense, what chance have we got?

  11. if the ethniks lose to Armenis, Angelo is toast. He is 66 ffs, a light of other days, another Skibbe/Markarian. Primary criteria for the next coach in this revolving door of coaches, will have to be that HE MUST BE UNDER 55. Manolas is the second poorest player in the team, Samaris is the worst. They should be dropped cause they have been garbage for multiple countless matches. Greek players that play or have played in Italy (and have a good grasp of hair gel) should of been there. He wont pick Toro so the coach has to go! I would try Risvanis and Siovas with Sok on the bench actually. I dropped him from my team as a RB. Zeca is our best by a mile. He must be embarrassed that he can be that much better than the rest, infact, he is now my captain. Congratulations!

  12. The coach played a system that didn’t benefit our players. Fortounis played in the wrong position. Zeca played at RB where you needed his hustle in the centre. Manolas and Sokratis didn’t play well and that’s what happens when your midfield is non existent defensively then the defence would be under pressure (in this case a lot) and eventually make mistakes, which happened. There was no excuse on the 2nd goal where Manolas let the Insigne score like that. By his standards he should have done better. The coach is to blame for starting the game the way he did. Our players are not good enough to be playing different positions. They haven’t even mastered their own position let alone play anywhere else. Italy have quality players. Bosnia have a few quality players. Who do we have? Sokratis is on the decline. Fortounis and Samaris are too slow and make silly mistakes. Manolas is close to quality but still needs areas to improve on. Our players are one dimensional. Masouras worked hard and tracked back a lot and helped out Zeca.

  13. I heard this guys press conference and he sounds like an idiot.. even though he takes blame he’s saying this has nothing to do with Zeca being RB or not having a striker and playing guys all over the place.. he said in his entire career he’s never seen such a bad performance to start the game.. news flash you saw it against Bosnia in the first 30 minutes and against Turkey... The Italian Gazetta said the coach made a wrong plan and played the wrong style. It also said Barkas was great and Samaris was the worst player on the pitch.. but they said all in all this coach and his formation made the team play scared and it was very easy for the Italians.. We should blame the players for sure but when they are asked to play a system which requires them to play a new positions against a top team is the coach not setting them up for failure???

  14. You are absolutely right.. out of pure frustration yesterday I also said I’m done blaming coaches but when I sat back and thought about it logically and saw the formation and where players were pIaying this one is 100% on the coach. I’ve been reading different outlets and reporters and they are stunned with the style of play and where he made guys play and not having a striker especially playing zeca at RB and not calling Toro or having Koutris and Kolouris on. Wtf was the point of the mini training they did in May or wtf did they learn from the horrible friendly against Turkey?? Simple answer absolutely nothing.. on the other hand our players need to also take responsibility as Socrates and Manolas were not leaders yesterday and did not lead by example as they were very average.. We are very limited in our talent pool and that’s why no coach the last some years has been able to find consistent success with this team.. I think we can find a coach that can utilize our best players but even then we will be a very mediocre team at best.

  15. My 2 cents: Disappointing performance. Apart from coaching it is about talent/playing with consistency. Apart from our 2 CBs (and I have some issues with their play) we have 3 ok keepers and 2 players that can deliver consistency Fortounis and Zeka. Thats it. Donis and Mitrodgou while talented have not been able to help different reasons. Take Samaris for example. On first view he is a very talented 8 type midfielder. On the Belgium game he was late on a marking and resulted in a goal. Yesterday he missed a marking couldn't catch up and resulted in another goal.If Zeka or Siopis were in his place nothing of these is happening. Stafilidis plays like a crap. IMO, also Manolas & Papastathopoulos played very average. Are not they supposed to be our best players? On an other goal an Italian player blow by Manolas easily. Actually both of them along with Siovas looked slow. I believe that Papa is on the decline. I am a Zeka fun, and I believe even at RB he was our best player in first half; Fortounis was in the second.

  16. You guys should read this.. So true... This guy rips the coach...Every outlet and reporter is blaming the coach for yesterdays loss and with good reason. Have read and see how many players were playing in a positions they are not use too and this is a trend with this coach as he said when he first got hired he doesn't care about positions. http://www.sport-fm.gr/article/podosfairo/prokrimatika euro/bombes-kougia-gia-anastasiadi-na-fugei-to-mapet-soou-twn-sudaksiouxwn-apo-tin-ethniki/3988496

  17. Hey Laput..sound like me 15 years ago. anyway, I would of liked to have seen a fit and available Retsos and Mavropanos, start to get phased into this squad. I'm the only guy that thinks Manolas and Sok, these days, are no better than Oikonomou. Siovas needs to keep away from the RB position. Toro has not played so, Sok might do something there or, Lykogiannis might be good for the RB position, don't know. I also believe that Lamprou, Limnios and Galanopoulos should come into this squad too and play further up, as well. Since world cup 2010, Karagounas, Kats and Samaras went, and there have been no dominant players to lead the team since then. Still not a settled lineup, one of the longest rebuilding phases in our history. The Acropolis would not be ready today, if it took that long for the construction company to build it back then. Actually pace should be the primary criteria for the mids and front third. Technical ability comes along for the ride. Therefore, a player can thwart or stop opposition players of more ability, with pace. On another note,I would prefer Taxi to Samaris cause he cannot stamp authority on the pitch. This is not going to improve at 30 years of age. Carlos Santana Zeca shytes all over him, superior class.
