  1. That's what they want. Whatever happens they will find a way to put us off. When we were leading the table they convinced us that Siriza gave us the championship. Now, they screwed us in the courts and we should be grateful for the minor penalty we got. We only lost two games 0-3 and three extra points were deducted. So, in total just -9. We should have gotten -20, so we should thank Athens and judges! AEK proudly represented Greece in Europe by reaching the round of 32. PAOK did that three times the last decade and of course no one would give any credits. Because PAOK is Larisa +1 or Aris -1. And POK is all that matters. Anyway... I am glad that team doesn't seem to give up. I would very much enjoy for us to win all the remaining matches plus the cup final against this amazing/wonderful/extraordinary/fantastic team that we are so lucky to be able to enjoy in Greek football. The titan AEK of Athens!

  2. I hear you. My comment was mainly regarding the teams. AEK has played well enough to win the paper title, I am just saying that they were quite lucky with all the derbies. The won 1-0 PAOK and lost 1-0 from PAOK. Olympiakos they were losing both games and then some miracles happened in both games and they won them both. Kudos, but this doesn't happen every day. Likewise in the first game against Panathinaikos they scored an equalizer on the 94th minute out of pure luck again. I am not trying to underestimate AEK, I am just saying that they are not the super team they want us to believe. Of course this will be a fiesta for them and they have to smash Panathinaikos, as we would do against Olympiakos if they would let us, but anyway... Hopefully we win Atromitos. It's nice to be 0-1 because we did a smart move on a free kick. It's been a while since PAOK has done something like that.

  3. He does hold his spot in the starting XI, Watford v Bournemouth kicking off in just under 10 minutes

  4. Isn't 2nd place and champions league still a priority? I really hope the players have the drive to win and why not as it's been a very long time where the team feels like they truly are a family and have each other's back.

  6. AEK will win the title this season, and they deserve it. They haven't lost a game since Oct. In my opinion, the PAOK goal was offside since a PAOK player was interfering. Anyway, PAOK shot themselves in the foot several times this year. As for the game AEK-PAO, I'm only hopeful that PAO shows up to play, because with what's going on in the club, I cannot expect anything more. I just read players haven't been paid since last year. Plus, the team may lose 3 points, and even worse..... Not knowing whether you'll get paid or where the team will be at end of season, having lost half of the starting roster since the start of season..... I'm surprised they play at the level they're playing.....

  8. Vasilakakis and Giannoulis should be in the team.

  9. You don't think there's a justification for the punishment that was doled out? PAOK were the best team this year on the pitch, but Savvidis crossed a line that should not have been crossed, irrespective of the poor decision made the referee to disallow the goal vs AEK. On one hand, I agree with you and hope that Savvidis' penalty is reduced given that he's been a great investor in both PAOK and Thessaloniki. On the other, actions have consequences and there needs to be some accountability.

  10. Here is an interesting quote from Robin Lane Fox, a historian from Oxford University. "Macedonia is a Greek speaking Kingdom in northern Greece populated by people using Greek names, Greek months of the year worshipping Greek gods. Those who live in Skopje [FYROM], and say that this is Macedonia and Alexander's homeland are as ignorant and outrageous as if someone was to say Oxford University is really in Belarus and Oxford is Minsk"
