You criticize our team, "H Ethnikh gamiete", but hands off the Gavs? WTF dude? Th epathes? Give us a break Mr "edgy poster"... :D Why shouldn't they be happy when the Gavs get throttled? Especially when posters in the red threads complain about budgets and refs (conspiracy!!!)?3 points

the job of the coaching staff at the academy is ,if they have a talented player he should be ready for first team football between the ages of 18-20 yrs of age. if the kid is scoring goals then he has talent, its the job of the coaching staff ,to keep him scoring goals ,develop those goal scoring instincts and help him make the jump from youth football to mens football, this is why they get payed, and if the kid struggled its their job to sort him out ,sometimes you might have to work at bringing the best out of some of these kids it doesn't happen by accident.2 points

Looking at that tattoo, it appears to be Berbacula. It's high time he gets out of that coffin and shows what he's capable of...2 points

Jeezus christ man would you stop about this whole 30 vs. Risvani bullshit?? 30 was "picked' over Risvani b/c Risvani was deemed lazy in practice by Rooter and wouldn't give it his all.. and thought u could merely be picked by Anastasiou w/o putting in hard work He was shipped to Panionio in hope that he realizes that hard work is what makes a good player great... unfortunately.. seems like he settled into Panionio and didn't want anything to do with PAO as he thought he could further his career by getting playing time instead of wiating for his turn at PAO (who seemed to have written him off b/c of poor work ethic) 30 is definately a meathead and a terrible defender b/c of poor IQ... but he is a crazy maniac.. and I can see him being a workaholic... I can see Anastasiou asking for 10 laps..and 30 giving 25 at full speed.... 30 is a good solider (aside from his idiot partying the night before a gigantic game)... and a dream for any coach.... he is the new Vyntra2 points

For we really care if he goes to Gavros? If that's where his heart is at, let him go. We saw Sunday his personality. Calling friends/former teammates mounia after the game after several years of playing together. That was probably the biggest win of career. F*** Risvanis. Tavlaridis should have knocked him out.2 points

Ronaldo was a freak boys and he did it at a time when defenders were much tougher/dirtier. He also won awards when there was way more competition than what there is these days. Today who else but Messi & Ronaldo are favourites for player of the year? Back then there were stars in every league and NT teams. The best striker I have ever seen play1 point

this youngster lambrou has scored something like 20 goals for the under 17s last season, the kid has it,its up to the coaching staff to bring him along and develop him, this was the whole plan 3 yrs ago develop youngsters and we have ended up with a team of old age pensioners. we are begging for our academy to develop a goal scorer and a creative midfielder,if they cant bring this kid up to scratch then something is very very wrong.1 point

the national team is worse than a circus,a lot of the players playing for the national team PAY to play. I will give you a real life example of how greek football works, a club got promoted to 3rd division this season, new coach comes in ,gets rid of 14 players from the roster and another 5 that the previous coach in his report had recommended to be kept, the new coach also got rid of them. and he starts bringing in players from all over the place ,im checking their stats, they read 0 games - 0 goals from their previous teams, the 14 players he brought in all paid him 1.500 euros to play ,I asked a technical director of another club who im friends with ,why does he do that doesn't he want to develop a winning team and create something, the answer was no,he will do the same at his next club ,he doesn't care if he gets sacked. there is one 2nd division club charging 8.000 euros if you want to play for them. this also goes on for the national team.1 point

Agree about Brazilian Ronaldo. Before the Serie A defenders kicked him to death, he was truly scary. Just think Christiano x 2. I've never seen a striker cause defenders so much fear. Look at these tackles! Today nearly all reds, and they weren't even a yellow in this game. Or not even a free kick. People forget how bad the tackling used to be. ~1:23. ~3:53, love this one. The defender looks like he's doing Karate or something. ~5:48, another beauty. And he was given this treatment week in week out. Christiano or Messi ? Cannon fodder. I can't remember who it was, but a Juve defender back in day was being interviewed and he said something like "In Italy, the man can get past the defender, or the ball, but not both".1 point

Ronaldo fenomeno was many people's favourite, mine as well. Once deemed not good enough by kalamata during his trial, he went on to conquer the world. Best striker i ever witnessed.1 point

Maybe we should be thankful that they only want to use Greece as a stopping point on their journey to Germany. I know it's a mess in Greece at the moment, but it could be worse. My fear is that at some point, all the countries bordering Greece will put up borders like Hungary. And then at that point, what happens ? If these refugees are given a choice of Greece or Turkey only, which would they select ?1 point

Maradona was the best hands down. I'm not one of these people that says "Maradona vs Pele, Maradona was better ..." but what he did will never happen again. He went to a mid table club, in the best league in the world by a country mile, and won them the league. That can't happen today. Would Messi or Ronaldo sign for say Everton or Newcastle ? Different times now so you just can't compare. Then again, Maradona had the assistance of cocaine. ;)1 point

I'm still waiting for fatF*** to come out and talk about the things he claims to know, what's it been now 12 months+ since he said that? Why the silence, wouldn't he want to let everyone know who these people are and what they're doing wrong? Yet it seems EVERY country around the world seems to be doing articles on him and his vromia........1 point

Both Ronaldo and Messi are freaks. Agree on that. Both will go down amongst the greats of the game. But in terms of looking just at stats, they are both lucky they are playing at a time when players are protected by referees. If they were playing in the Serie A of the 90's, they would've been on their 2nd knee reconstruction by now.1 point
