  1. Despite his very high profiled resume, I don't consider him a leader at PAO. Leaders at pao are players like zeca! Essien hasn't done s%$#! for me to call him a leader. Freezer you need to chill out man, few kilos isn't anything to worry about. We are playing in the SL, not EPL. Your acting as if the bloke has a chronic weight issue and has no idea how to work out. m#$%!, essien has been doing HIT training for probably close to 2 decades...

  2. Home grown quality talent. Maybe we should send Koulouri to Portugal on loan for a year as well, lol...It seems to have done Pelkas good. Sending young talent to the Greek B and lower leagues is detrimental to their development. We should have made La Coru?a taken Koulouri with guaranteed playing time as part of the Lucas deal, lol.

  3. Impressive result. All of the goals were very good. The build up play on the first and the steal by Mak on the second, excellent. I actually think Mak can play in the CF position if the opposition are playing a high line. The 4th and 5th goals I don't think any other player on the squad would have scored them. At least I can't think of anyone that would have. His ability to run with the ball with pace is very very good. With both those goals he essentially took the ball from close to the half way line. I think his market value just doubled overnight. ;) Pelkas has been a revelation. The good thing is Tudor won't let him slack him off. Just keep getting better Pelkas! For f***s sake, extend Kace's contract already! The GSL will be a different story as most teams won't play with such a high line, so I don't see Mak in the CF role on a regular basis, but I think he's shown enough to give us confidence he can play the position if required. Will be interesting to see how the other new signings will fit into the squad. With the exception of Leovac, I don't think any of them are guaranteed starters just yet.

  4. I never listen to coaches after games as it's the same interview. He doesn't want to throw his guys under the bus and I can respect that position. I just hope his private message to his team is getting through.

  10. If we go head to head with Bosnia and we finished tied with them then there is no way we can advance to the World Cup, I guarantee you they will score at least twice the amount of goals we score and they will be ahead of us on goal differential.

  12. So true. Somehow, someway Greek governments find a way to screw their own people. Burn the lot of them I say.

  13. A move like that (penalty) in GSL will be a penalty every time....if its against Oly, it's a penalty, red card and the fat heroin dealer will have his first born as well.

  14. What would be refreshing is that when we hit a patch of poor results [it will happen eventually] and the players start cracking the sads and causing trouble [Tzavella i'm looking at you m#$%!] that the board says screw you, do what the coach says or get lost, as opposed to our normal response of "ach ta kaimena mora" let's sack the coach. It's embarrassing that since 1970 our longest serving coach is Santos and that was less than 3 years. 12 times in those years we have had 3 coaches in a season and we had 5 coaches in a season once.

  16. After Greeksoccer.com went down, I sent numerous emails to buy the domain with no reply. This morning I went to GoDaddy.com to see if it was available. It says that the minimum bid was $50,000.00. After a good 15 minutes of laughing my balls off, As I was about to buy a different domain to set up a new forum, I figured I'd check greeksoccer.com's Facebook page, to see if I had access to all their "likes" and friends to recruit users. That's where I saw a message about this forum and figured I'd save myself the aggravation and just join here. How have all you tsoglania been in my absence? It's nice to see a few of you missed me, lol.

  17. No. It's against the law to speak Greek in Australia. If you do, they sentence you to prison and force you to say "put another shrimp on the barbie" until you're brain is destroyed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXLQwrgAKbA
