A fine display in goal by Chelsea's 4th choice keeper Mario Ambrosio ensured the matched remained goalless at half time, despite a battling performance by Bolton, looking to complete an unlikely double over their wealthy visitors.

2 goals midway through the 2nd half by Terry and Duff gave the Blues an important victory to keep the pressure on Arsenal.

Giannakopoulos started the match and was very industrius both through the centre and wide on the right, before being replaced by Ba after Chelsea's 2nd goal.

ARSENAL V BOLTON PREVIEW

http://www.skysports.com/skysports/article...1128048,00.html

Sam Allardyce's side are suffering an almighty hangover from their Carling Cup final defeat to Middlesbrough and they head into the contest on the back of four consecutive defeats.

What will be of consolation to the Bolton chief is the first-half display against Chelsea last weekend, in which the North West battlers were unfortunate not to break the deadlock.

Mercurial French talent Youri Djorkaeff is Bolton's primary injury concern and is likely to miss out with a hamstring injury, which ruled him out of the Chelsea defeat.
