Konstadinos Filippidis tied his personal indoor best at the Madrid Indoor Meet at 5.85 m. He finished first in this competition. 
Last week in Dusseldorf, he finished third at 5.78 m. He is looking good and is poised to have a successful 2018 season.

What a disappointment for both Greek female athletes in the Oslo Diamond League. Both Stefanidi and Papachristou got NM in their respective disciplines. ?

I did not realize the Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event. Greece got 11 medals so far (5 gold).

21 medals (7 gold, 4 silver, 10 bronze) 
Today, Greece could medal in wrestling, artistic gymnastics, and weightlifting.

Rafalia Spanoudaki got the first medal for Greece in track and field and it's silver in the 100m!

Elisavet Pesiridou won bronze in women's 100 m hurdles
She was lucky that she didn't get DQed, their was a gun malfunction.

It is officially confirmed after a judges replay, Pesiridou was awarded silver after she finished equal with 13.30 with the Italian sprinter.

Konstantinos Douvalidis won the final medal for Greece in athletic, it is bronze in the men's 110 m hurdles.

Voula Papachristou broke her personal best today in the Balkan Championship in Bulgaria with a mark of 14.74 and win gold in the competition. She is officially tops in all of Europe this season.

Greece ended the 2018 Balkan Championship with 22 medals (8 gold, 9 silver, 5 bronze)

Katerina Stefanidi jumps over 4.87 for a new season's best in the IAAF Diamond League in Zurich. She has a shot in jumping over 4.92 on her next attempt to try to break her own outdoor Greek national record.

Stefanidi won her third consecutive Diamond League trophy for the women's pole vault. She is truly a great athlete for Greece.

The first Mediterreanean indoor U23 Championships will be held in Miramas, France on January 19th.

Miltos Tentoglou tied Louis Tsatoumas's Greek National Indoor Record in the men's long jump today at the Madrid Open (8.23 m).

I watched a few clips from the Pan-Hellenic Indoor Championship in Piraeus. 
Nikolaos Scarvelis won the men's shot put with a mark of 20.11 m. 
Kostas Zikos won the men's 60 m sprint with a time of 6.62 
Rafalia Spanoudaki won the women's 60 m sprint with a time of 7.35 
Dimitris Tsiamis won his 13th consecutive Greek Indoor title in men's triple jump. 

Maria Belibasaki, Kostas Filippidis, and Voula Papachristou did not take part in the competition. Katerina Stefanidi is also not participating as well.
