Antaeus7
Nikoleta Kyriakopoulou is the first Greek athlete (male or female) to win a Diamond League event. When I watched that 4.80 m she passed over, I was amazed! She screamed like crazy! lol

Antaeus7
Kostas Filippidis will be taking part in the Shanghai Diamond League event. I just hope he finishes in a respectful position, it will be hard to win this meeting with guys like Lavillenie, Lisek, Kendricks, etc.
Antaeus7
Filippidis finished 5th place with a height of 5.50 m. He gets 4 points.

Antaeus7
She failed on all 3 attempts, I honestly wanted her to break the record, but she is not ready to jump over 5 m.
Blackhawk
She should first go for 4.95m creating a new Greek record and then set sights for the 5 meter mark.
Antaeus7
Thank you, that is what I was thinking! BTW, 4.90m would be the new Greek outdoor record. Her best was 4.86m.

Antaeus7
Ioannis Kyriazis will be a heavy favorite to win gold at the Under 23 European Championship in Bydgoszcz, Poland. I'm not saying that because I am being cocky, it's because no one in that group has thrown better than 85 meters both season and personal bests.
