The good old Golden Spike track meet in Ostrava. Used to attend this meet every year as a youngster when I was growing up in Ostrava. I have seen some very famous world athletes competing at this meet

Miltos Tentoglou tied Louis Tsatoumas's Greek National Indoor Record in the men's long jump today at the Madrid Open (8.23 m).

She is in the process of getting Greek citizenship so she can compete for Greece. One of the biggest talents in Greek track & field.

The IAAF Diamond League starts one month from now in Doha, Qatar. If anybody have the list of Greek athletes participating in Doha other than Ekaterini Stefanidi, please let me know.

Kostas Filippidis will be taking part in the Shanghai Diamond League event. I just hope he finishes in a respectful position, it will be hard to win this meeting with guys like Lavillenie, Lisek, Kendricks, etc.

Next Diamond League meeting will be held in Rome.

Paraskevi Papachristou will be competing in the women's triple jump with 10 other participants. Of course, Ekaterini Stefanidi will be too.

Very disappointing finish for Papachristou as she finished 10th (13.67) in the meeting. She couldn't advance beyond 3 attempted jumps.

Stefanidi wins the Rome event (16 points total) after 2 meetings.
Now she is going to attempt to break the national outdoor record at 4.91.

Ioannis Kyriazis will be a heavy favorite to win gold at the Under 23 European Championship in Bydgoszcz, Poland. I'm not saying that because I am being cocky, it's because no one in that group has thrown better than 85 meters both season and personal bests.
