It could serve as team preparation at the beginning of the season and also give playing time to second string players throughout the season However the way they decided to do it is stupid. Like always, no planning at all. They basically decided that at the end of this season (end of April) they will have this League Cup competition.
pash Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 It's just an excuse to replace the playoffs and extend the season. The only benefit here is that it'll screw over every team, not just those ranked 2-5.
