kozi Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Can't believe Klaus is still at the club, fantastic news about Mak.
pash Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Mak's training today, not yet wearing a number. I'm going to guess he'll be wearing # 7
pash Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 It looks like for the friendly vs Ghent, PAOK will be showing the game "TV style"...as in, with multiple cameras and higher quality than before. Very solid - now I'm just waiting on them to announce a paid PAOKTV season pass ;)
Dutch Eagle Posted July 6, 2017 Author Posted July 6, 2017 It will be on our channel on Youtube. http://inpaok.com/366019/παοκ-γάνδη-στο-ίντερνετ/
pash Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Do you think once they launch the paid service, that they'll use us as their color commentators? I can pretend to have a British accent if it will help
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Here's the lineup. Stanojevic is not expected to swap the entire team out at half, as well.
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 We look awful. Our wingers aren't creative enough to start anything. Nice movement by Campos though
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Goal Gent. Well deserved, they've been much better than us
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Yeah, half time. I don't like this formation at all. If he wants three defenders, then he should switch to a 3-5-2 and take advantage of Pelkas being available. Biseswar and Cimirot, incidentally, were given the day off to rest.
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Mak, Henrique, Leveque, and Pelkas coming on for Jairo, Prijovic, Leovac, and Campos.
Bananas Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Stanojevic is definitely trying out the some formations, that's for sure. I've always thought 4-2-3-1 is the most "balanced" system personally, but it's good (and necessary) for players to be able to adapt, especially so when you're playing stronger or weaker teams, or even derbies. 3-4-3 is a bit extreme though.
Bananas Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Is that a fashion statement by Leveque or due to the injury he got in the last match ? Maybe both ?!
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Maybe he's re-cutting himself so that he has a reason to keep wearing it. Looks like a pirate. Good hustle by him, by the way.
Bananas Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Ha ha, according to transfermarket, Varela is injured and due to return June 10, 2020.

pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Poor Varela, RIP Mak is wearing 29? I don't approve. Give him Warda's number dammit
Bananas Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 It will cost Mak 6 million to get that number from Warda™, ha ha.
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) What a bunch of babies Though it looks like Konstantinidis, Koulouris, and Kace are coming on -edit- though this is what PAOK's twitter account is saying; maybe I just don't know what our players look like: 68' #Dimitriou, #Koulouris, #Deligiannidis και #Kace στις θέσεις των #Matos, #Varela, #Canas #Shakhov Edited July 7, 2017 by pash
Bananas Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) I'd have given them water from Flint to drink. Fix 'em right up. Nothing like a bit of lead to get you going. -- edit -- I should try and stick to sporting commentary but this game is kind of dull. Edited July 7, 2017 by Bananas
Bananas Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) Oh Crespo, get it on target. -- edit -- He's been given the captain's armband and now he's shooting like Klaus. Edited July 7, 2017 by Bananas
pash Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Total spanking. Hopefully Stanojevic is paying attention.
