Hearing Lazaros is out that's the word in Athens. Going to the game also I'm so pumped for it. Xanthi has a decent side also so we shouldn't take them lightly but with a big crowd and being first game we should get the job done

Με μια μεγάλη απουσία θα αγωνιστεί η ΑΕΚ στην πρεμιέρα της κόντρα στην Ξάνθη. Ο Λάζαρος Χριστοδουλόπουλος έμεινε εκτός μάχης και ως εκ τούτου ο Κετσπάγια κάνει τα σχέδιά του χωρίς τον Έλληνα διεθνή για το ματς της Κυριακής. Στη σημερινή προπόνηση ο Κετσπάγια χώρισε τους παίκτες του σε «βασικούς» αμυντικούς και «βασικούς» επιθετικούς δείχνοντας κάποιες από τις σκέψεις του. Εφόσον ο Λάζαρος ήταν υγιής θα ξεκινούσε τον αγώνα της Κυριακής, τώρα τη θέση του θα πάρει ο Βάργκας με τον Πατίτο να την διεκδικεί. Έτσι εκτός απροόπτου η ΑΕΚ κόντρα στην Ξάνθη και σύμφωνα με τα όσα έδειξε σήμερα ο Κετσπάγια θα «κατέβει» με τον Ανέστη στο τέρμα, τους Γκάλο, Ντίντακ, Τσιγκρίνσκι – Λέσκοτ στην άμυνα, τους Σιμόες – Γιόχανσον αμυντικά χαφ και στην τριπλέτα πίσω τον από φουνταριστό Αλμέιδα θα ξεκινήσουν οι Μπακασέτας, Μάνταλος  και Βάργκας ή Πατίτο.

 

This is the likely starting lineup, I'm surprised Lescott is ready to start already. I would like to see Patito get the start so we can at least have one real winger in the game because Bakasetas is not a winger.

Lazaros has been confirmed that he won't play. Can't wait for the game tomorrow

Would have preferred Galanopoulos in MF, or even Mandalos with Vargas/Bakasetas at CAM, good to see Patito get the start. 

Lets hope we start off on a win, we need to be taking max points at home!

We havent done much since the 3rd goal, have let Xanthi have more of the ball since, but they have not done much either.

Need to get on the ball more.

Lambropoulos misses a sitter, he also is breaking up our flow, not entirely his fault he isnt a standard CM, still tho he is stopping the flow.

Almeida looks like his back is at him, not looking good for him doubt he will be back for the 2nd, no point risking him.

I expect to see Aravidis on or else Vargas with Bakasetas going up front.

Overll its been a solid performance, we dont have as much control of the ball as I would have wanted. 

Really impressed with Chygrinskiy and Patito. Lescott hasnt had much to do.

An entertaining first half, I thought we would control more of the ball. What is wrong with Simoes? 

Hopefully Almeida’s back is okay for next week.

I think Simoes got slightly injured in training, nothing serious, starting him off on the bench as a precaution.
