Yeah... cause you guys aren’t paranoid

I really feel we need to start looking at two forwards, perhaps the above two could help but they did have opportunities not long ago and failed. Here is a line up I would use ______________________Barkas __________Siovas________Sokratis___Manolas _______________Zeca______Galanopoulos Fetfa________________Mantalos____________Koutris _____________Donis _____________________Koulouris Mix and match, get in the mix: Pavlidis, Gianoulis, Natsos, Retsos, Limnios, Bouchlalakis, Kourbelis, Tsimikas, Masouras, Vasiliadis, Bouzoukis, Risvanis, Androutsos, Katranis, Kampetsis, Gianniotas, Mitroglou, Gentzoglou

Kostas Manolas ‒ (Now Playing for Pannaxiakos)

Pretty decent game. You can see from watching these matches, there is not a difference in how he plays for the ethniki, if anything it really highlights our issues there which is midfield -
This is what kills me... we make our riches when we QUALIFY for tournaments, I really see no win for EPO, even if they were looking at their own best interests, we have no money to get decent coaches so I see no benefit of the current trend and having any way on picking players like Tziolis, Tzavellas, Bakasteas etc... On top of that, look at the stadium situation, what wins is there for one one wanting to host the team and playing in front of 5,000... lose lose situation - I have said it before, this is the worst run EPO ever

Well done, great to see Fetfa on fire again

One can also play devils advocate to that and say, we didnt integrate the loser generation with these KK's at the time when we could have. There were many friendly games for example, that we played half aressed and didnt try some of the guys of today, instead they were all given the job after the World Cup and the rest is history. I does not excuse what we see today, but I always felt some of these guys could have had more exposure to the good days. How Samaris, who was part of those teams is one of our worst offenders now really makes you wonder.

Finland just equalised Italy... not good

We are still too slow from the back, Samaris and Bouchalakis not doing much IMO, it's only when Manolas or Socratis take it forward themselves that we look to create something. Thing I dont get... shouldnt be that hard to get the RB or LB to get it forward... simple stuff. Masouras got better after the goal and had a great shot. Fetfa has been one of our best. Def want to see more from Vrousai or bring Pelkas on, havent been that impressed with the rookie. Tsimikas ok, Bakakis better and doing some ok combos with Fetfa.I would honestly get Pelkas for Vrousai, Bouchalakis or Samaris - we have to work on movement and creativity. We also need to work on our corners

Some good and interesting points Good press conference with JVS, some key points 1. We have to have a good performance for the Greek fans 2. He was aware of the situation with the Ethniki when he came 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY MOVING FORWARD - we become a team and put the ego's aside (he refers to ego's a few times which I think is telling) 4. If you want to play for the Ethniki, that has to be your priority 5. When you're called to camp that is the only thing that matters - players with this attitude will be selected going forward 6. Clear goals for all and what coaching staff will be looking at 7. Hard work needed to get results 8. Goals & Focus when coming to play for Greece, need to put aside all other things and be professional, be proud to play for Greece (again, a very telling comment) This is a mindset we have not seen in the Ethniki for some time and I think he has some messages to some players in what he is saying so I reckon he has seen a few things he does not like
