Last I saw the EPO were looking at the Georgios Kamaras stadium and the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium in Thessaloniki.

Congrats to Olympiakos for winning the Greek Cup 1-0 on a goal from Randjelovic in the 10th minute. El Arabi had a miserable match missing a pk and muffing on a few other great chances as well.

I hope JVS doesn't start Kourbelis and Zeca in the middle of the park going forward. They are good at covering ground and hustling but they lack technically. They could be good bench options and especially bringing them in to hold a result. Bakasetas has had improved performances under JVS but he hasn't delivered a goal in 27 apps. He was a bit unlucky last game when he volleyed just over the bar. I would like him to come in as a sub when needed. Fountas just scored 2 goals in Austrian league he must be starting the next two matches in October ahead of Koulouris who has had his struggles with the NT.

Once Hatzidiakos is back in the lineup we will greatly improve at the CB position as we saw how he moves the ball quickly. I appreciate Stafs service to the NT but his performances have not been as good as they were back a few years ago when he was playing exceptionally well for the NT and Augsburg. As for Fetfa he has all the attacking talent the NT craves but he can’t be showing up late for meetings especially under JVS and expect call ups. Whats happening with Donis? Is he on JVS radar I would like to see him back for the October matches.

I think we can all agree the Ethniki is an a much better place in recent times. The only other time in the last 5 years we have had a good run of performances was when we reached the 2018 World Cup playoffs before bowing out to Croatia the eventual finalists. I agree with some posters about some of the call ups. Personally I definitely would have wanted Vlachodimos over Barkas in goalkeeper as he is clearly better. Overall JVS has done a great job in changing the culture and instilling a solid work ethic in the side. I’m all for seeing Manolas make a return to the NT as he is a great defender but he has to have the right mindset. I am looking forward to the matches in October hope to see our play improve as we saw back last year and we need to get 2 wins..

JVS has the team going in the right direction. Thank God EPO didn’t go for someone else. He has the team playing with a certain swagger we haven’t seen since the 2014 World Cup Team. If we can just get the striker position figured out than we will be a very dangerous side. Koulouris is not NT material and today he had another sub par match.

That’s right in the last 3 years they have only lost at home to England 5-3 and to Denmark. So they are on the up. Not playing a weak CONCACAF nation.

Greece win it 2-1. We dominated most of the match and should have had another goal.

Slovenia won 1 nil vs Moldova it was an uninspiring effort again from the Slovenians. Moldova had a few chances to equalize in the second half.

Fortounis is back in the starting 11 I hope he has a big game and Greece dominate these guys. Go ELLAS!!

Greece were missing Fortounis in this match more than anything else he has that quality to have opened up Slovenia. Also our free kicks lacked delivery another area were he would have made a difference. As I said I just hope we can beat Kosovo in convincing fashion.
