I know this opinion is not very popular, but at this point in time, I think a Greek coach would be a good move. We are very behind schedule, and a coach who knows the team a little would need less time to get adjusted. There are 2-3 Greek coaches who I would not mind seeing at our club.

No one is saying that, you're being facetious. If he would have worked harder at his physical conditioning, at the bare minimum he would have found himself a better club than a 2nd tier US team, and perhaps even been at a higher level in his prime. We could be wrong about this, but all the posters here are saying is that it looks to us (from the outside) that he was on the laxer side of maintaining a high fitness/strength level in his career. Again, we could be wrong, it's just an impression here that many have.

The man (Georgiou) is a joke. Please. Tsoukala is also for comic relief, if he wrote a polemic on soccer analysis would you expect me to read it?

No one would ever say that Greece is even close to a top league, but even Greece is light years ahead from the gulf teams, Astera would win the Asian Champions league more times than Real Madrid won the proper one in no time.

It's standard op procedure in Greece sadly, I think only the Prince and Valverde stayed on for 2 or more full seasons consecutively in our modern history. Eventually this has to change, the fans and media need to get on board too.

That's a shame, you see the game better on tv, but the experience at Karaiskaki is truly special on Euro nights and derbies.

Greek soccer reality. Fans do not always help either, but generally our Prez should try more to modernise (and in a lot of ways he has) the coaching issue, and himself act more professional and stay away from the locker rooms for example, threatening players before a match is very unprofessional. I know it's how thing work in Greece but, let's try to push things forward like we have already in other aspects of the club.
