@Blackhawk - great job following up on this for everyone's benefit. I realized something was up when I could not view Sunday's game on Laola1 ... So that service is about to get canceled! Totally agree I would pay the E80 or more for a season pass online, but no PAOK home games is nuts. I don't even understand how they PAE can work a separate TV deal like that ... I mean, is that even an advantage? Wouldn't you want Greek fans to be able to watch your games? Hopefully they come up with a streaming deal soon before too much of the season goes by ... I like the idea of a long-term solution.

This discussion about the Greek SL's place among European leagues is pointless. Consider this: 2014 Average Wages by League Greece ranked 21st with an average player wage of 145,000 Pounds Sterling. That;s almost equal to THE MLS. Let that sink in for a moment. Hold it... hold it... Also, Exhibits "A"-"D" A-The 12 "smaller" clubs in our league have no money to develop, or pay for talent. B-TV revenue for the clubs has gotten worse not better. C-at least half of the stadiums are ancient, have low capacity, and terrible attendance. D-The league DID NOT HAVE A CORPORATE SPONSOR IN 2015/16. Think about that. No one wanted to assocaite themselves with the SL. That's about 1 mil euros per club in lost sponsorship revenue. It's all about money. So long as we are in a recession, our league (from top to bottom) is a shell of its former self from 2000-2008. Accept the realities, hope for a better tomorrow with meaningful changes in the EPO, SL, KED. Then we can become competitive top to bottom and send teams to Europe to rattle the big boy's cages. <mic drop> p.s. A couple things ... First, I'm amped this game is on Laola1.tv and I hope it means the contract extended to this season as it's the only reliable way for me (in the US) to watch (home) games without buying a satellite dish. Second, I'm surprised Pelkas gets left off the squad. He played well in all the friendlies, and this is a game we may need to score a couple of goals. Third, we have to accept the fact Pereyra can only play striker, and he's relatively good at that spot, so basically he is a role player who will get spot starts. Finally, if Rodriguez doesn't have his head in the game from the start, Ivic better put Mystakidis in at half. When Rodriguez is at his worst, he kills possessions.

tzaellas made a mistake on the goal, but he had a good game overall. credit to klaus for the assist to Djalma but he just has to be better. i think he is better with another ST to work off of ... Rodriguez had no substance at all tonight.

great result for us. congrats to the players. game 2 is going to be hard. ajax is really big at every position. these dudes are going be real sore after this.
