  1. Zivkovic was more consistent than Tzolis, but when Tzolis was at his best it was the best level any player produced this season. I think Schwab deserves a mention too, he was pretty consistent all season. Never dominated games like the other 2, but was at a good level and only remember one or two poor games from him.
  2. Lucescu is live! Gotta say despite how the Garcia situation was handled, it's great to see Razvan back and talking about PAOK. Fills me with optimism and hope leading into next season.
  3. The main difference is that Vieirinha had been playing at a much higher level than the Superleague in Germany and had been a starter for years in a team that played Champions League football. As you rightly pointed out, Prijovic is coming off a poor season numbers wise in a league he should be dominating, Vieirinha never had that problem.
  4. As per every transfer window since he left, Prijovic is being linked with a return to us. Apparently Red Star Belgrade is the favourite to get him but we are in the mix. 2 questions I would have, what kind of shape is he in? I'm generally against players returning especially after they've gone chasing money in the Middle East and Asia (there are exceptions where players come back to Europe and are able to play at a good level) and secondly how much would he want? Sounds like he will be demanding quite a big salary.
  5. Apparently Monchengladbach are going to make an official offer for Tzolis. How much they offer will be the deciding factor if we sell or not. We still want 15 million, as some of you have pointed out that now maybe a little hard to get given his drop in the last couple of months.
  6. I have read that he's been linked with a move to AZ Alkmaar, would be a good move for him going to a top 4 team in Holland who will be playing Europa League football next season.
  7. Squad for the 2 friendlies has been released. Fortounis asked to be left out due to a family problem, Giakoumakis is injured.
  8. Ela re, we are Greek the team doesn't need to be playing for us to hang s%$#! on them! JVS is a m@l@k@, Bakasetas sucks, where is fEtFa??? See, it's easy
  9. 100% agree, he was the Paschalakis of 18-19 and stood up with big saves to keep us in the game when we were on the back foot. HUGE WIN! Fantastic way to end what was a challenging season, this result saves the season. The fact that in our poorest year for about 5-6 years we still manage to win the Cup is a pretty solid achievement! KYPELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  10. Here we go! A litt;e disappointed that he's gone with Swiderski over Kremncik, I fear Karol will get monstered by Semedo and Sokratis (who has recovered and is starting) Let's do this!!
  11. You think Olympiacos will notice we have 12 players on the field or nah?
  12. Swiderski has been included in Poland's final squad for the Euros, well done to him!
  13. Ingason has officially been ruled out of the final by the club. It's a blow, he has a pretty good record against El-Arabi. Varela will replace him, with Vieirinha and one of Crespo/Michalidis either side.
  14. Indeed a strange thing to say, and the theories have already begun! @Blackhawk's favourite radio host Raptopoulos running with the theory that Garcia is on his way out and will be replaced by either Lucescu or Valverde. I can't imagine that to be true(especially Valverde), but you wouldn't think Garcia would say something like that 6 days out from the biggest game of the season if something hadn't gone on behind the scenes.
  15. @Dutch Eagle has Tasos Donis been injured or just unable to establish himself since moving? Disappointing the way his career has stagnated the last few years, he has not been in a consistent starter at any of his teams for a long time. Injuries haven't helped but to see him go to a relegation bound team in Holland and unable to get regular minutes is concerning.
  16. Do we think Garcia will rotate in this game or the game against Asteras? He won't risk anyone under an injury cloud (Ingason, Vierinha) there will be a rotation of players such as Zivkovic, Rodrigo, Augusto and Baba it's just whether Garcia chooses to do it in this game or the final game. Early reports suggest that Martins will continue to rotate the Olympiacos squad for this one.
  17. I do believe it's a 10pm same day kick off in Australia, Eastern Standard Time not 2am. Bless the early kick off! A win will basically secure 2nd spot, all things considered this season it would be a good result. In the end it doesn't really matter since we have sealed European qualification with 3 games to spare. Still would be nice to beat them at Toumba given we haven't managed to do that since they returned to the Superleague.
  18. 85 opportunities to shoot and no one wants to pull the trigger
  19. As expected a cagey match, with both teams trying to avoid making any mistakes. We've had the better chances and could have easily been in the lead on the day, AEK on the other hand has not really threatened. Despite that in this type of game all it takes is a moment of magic or a mistake and you have a goal which completely changes the complexion of the tie. For now we are in control, AEK at some point will open up but if it stays at 0-0 that may only be in the last 10-15.
  20. Would've been interesting if Swiderski had scored, given the AEK keeper was bleeding would the ref had allowed the goal? Because he didn't blow his whistle until after Swiderski had his chance saved by an unsuspecting Tsintotas.
  21. Good for us that Levi Garcia is out, even if Baba seemed to handle him well a few weeks back. I expect a cagey match, the 3-4-3 Garcia has reverted to will hold us in good stead. In terms of the team I expect Ingason to come in for Michalidis and not sure if it'll be Tzolis or Warda for the injured El Kaddouri. Garcia likes El Kaddouri to drift into the middle and support the midfielders and Warda is more suited to playing that sort of role.
  22. Loving these early times for us, really does feel like a holiday!
  23. Tsitsipas has kept up his superb form from Monte-Carlo and has made the Barcelona final which is to be played tonight against Nadal. Stefanos is yet to drop a set in Spain this week and he has dispatched of 3 seeds in his run to the final.
