___________Mitroglou Pelkas_____Fortounis_____Mantalos _____Tachtsidis___Samaris Holebas________________Torosidis _______Manolas__Sokratis ___________Karnezis This should be our core team. We should stick to this in the beginning. It's also important to start incorporating Stafylidis and Kitsiou into the fullback positions during this campaign. Holebas and Torosidis are both in their 30s. Lastly, we also need to utilize Petsos, Vellios, Kapino, etc. He have a very good team, a lot of youth talent and a lot of quality players. There could be worse problems. (I believe Bakakis should be a starter if he wasn't injured, if he's as good as he is for AEK than we're in good feet :P )

When is Cirimot going to be available for you guys? I had high hopes for him
-
^^^hahahahaha
-
I also feel like Vellios deserves a call up
-
Dean 97 good post bud, but I'm not so sure about Lagos. He's mediocre at BEST. Also, Sifakis still plays football?! I'd have Vellidis as 2nd or 3rd keeper.

^Bakakis is injured unfortunately

RED SHERIFF good point. I wish the NT could play at AEL Arena, or Toumba, etc. It gets a little boring playing in the same place all the time
-
We're F***ed in my opinion, but I'll give him a chance. Couple games and we should see what he's all about. Also in an interview, he said that his goal is to take us to Russia 2016. Well said.

Also, look at AC Milan and Inter Milan. They both had ?150,000,000 budgets and their still ska-ta

JVC I understand where your coming from, but money isn't everything in football. Sure it's quite a factor, but not the only one. Just to clear the air, I do think Greek football is getting better. Here's some examples: 1. Olympiacos might have a decent champions league run 2. AEK is back, and financially healthy with a billionaire owner 3. Iraklis is back 4. PAOK is a rebuilding job, but is debt free and moving in the right direction with players and management 5. Larissa look like there coming back to the Super League, with AEL Arena 6. Aris will likely be back in a couple years. From what I've read in the Aris forum their attracting wealthy investors Panathinaikos is a different story :P With time things will only get better because they've already hit the worst. I believe that 2011-13 were the real s%$#! points in the Super League. Atleast now Super League clubs (as far as I'm concerned) can afford their players, unlike Aris, OFI, etc. who are taking the same bright route as AEK did. As far as curruption, get over it man. It's not going to end, and the Greek League is not the only currupt league. You just have to learn to live with it bro.

It's funny how no one really talks about Samaras recently in this forums :P

Petsos needs to be given a chance. He controls the midfield at his over achieving Austria Wien club. Defeating Ajax, Villareal, etc. on the way

Needed win. Even though it didn't get is to euro, it brought the young boys some motivation and determination going into the next campaign. Lol we can just watch Cyprus in the euro as a replacement (I believe if they win tmrw and Bosnia loses to Belgium they are through) -

Why is Moras starting over Tzanetopoulos? -

I would start Stafylidis. We have nothing to lose at this point. We've already F***ed this up badly. Stafylidis is a player for the future, Holebas isn't. -
You guys should get Mattheos Maroukakis. The guy's a tank, and scores some crackers. Been in excellent form since joining Larissa from Panachaiki

Greece sucks. Play for your country, not for yourself. Quite humiliating that of all countries, Greece plays with the least pride. I remember in the Finland game, when there was a moment of silence for the 18 year old Veria keeper who died, I though the team would win it. At least be motivated and win the game for the kid, but of course they couldn't. Against a team that has 1/10 of what the Greek team has (talented to wise)

Sokratis is like top 5 CB's in the world in my opinion. The guys a brick wall. I can't name 10 CB better than him.
