For those who don't remember, Mantalos should have sent off in the beginning of the second half, at the 75' there is a straight red card for an AEK's player and penalty for PAOK that was not given, and at the very end when PAOK tried desperately for the equalizing the referee did everything to keep PAOK out of AEK's penalty area, didn't give a handball right outside of the penalty area which led to Maleza's red card.

What Greeks? We don't have that many guys... I am referring first of all to Pelkas. I saw half an hour of the second half of today's friendly game against Lamia. To my eyes Pelkas was pissed to be playing along with the reserve players. He was just walking, unless the ball was ten feet or less close to him. All his playing and attitude was typical of his ego. Those "almost" professionals should be kicked right in the ass. The rest of the Greeks are all those who want to be part of the first choices of the coach and they are not. In those I put Athanasiadis, Konstantinidis, Koulouris, and Kace who is Albanian of course but I put him with the Greeks for obvious reasons. I don't think all of them included Pelkas are giving anything to the team. They are holding the mentality of the whole PAOK down and they do NOT let the club progress. However, each of them are many years in the team, more than a decade for each one, so they have some strong connections around PAOK and of course media friends like Kolkas. To my point of view, whoever has talent and decides to stay at PAOK never progresses. Kudos to Stafylidis and whoever decides to leave. On another topic, we have three center forwards, Prijovic, Klaus, Koulouris and is like we have one. Who is going to score when Prijovic is injured, suspended, or out of form? Unless Michel/Konstantinidis/Stanojevic/Savvidis expect Prijovic to nail 60 games this season and score 30-40 goals. This lack of a second decent striker puts in danger the whole project. And I know Mak might be able to play, but this should be an exception and not the rule. I am not convinced at all from Stanojevic's coaching skills so far, but I don't like the fact that those scumbags are openly criticizing our coach. All in all, if someone needs to be criticized is Savvidis who found a coach with psihoula. We have a very important double game in Europe and with all those complaints coming from every corner and all this attitude from the whole PAOK family I can see us having a very very very hard time to make it to the group stages. I hope things aren't as bad as to get eliminated by the Swedish!

I just read an article by this scumbag Kolkas and he is openly criticizing the coach. I don't trust the coach myself, but the thing that this joke who claims to be a reporter says that, it means that already the Greeks of the team want Stanojevic out. It's early in the season yet. And I don't think he was particularly unimpressive in the friendly games. He was fine. As for the two Europa League games, in the first one the whole team was horrible and in the second one he looked so worried to score that he didn't score even though he has his chances. I am sure he will be fine, but also I am sure we need another good CF. At some point we have to accept that Klaus and Koulouris will not help the team, they just exist on the squad.

In total we will have two full months (maybe more) where we will be having three matches per week. If Vieirinha comes we will have a plethora of choices on the wings and I would love that. Djalma, Mak, Enrique, Vieirinha. So, even if someone is injured (Djalma did a couple times last year) and as you are saying Vieirinha might be also prone, then we will still have decent choices to play against a very important Europa League game, a derby in the League, or a Cup game closer to the final stages. If we progress to the 32 of the Europa League (hopefully we will) then we will be again having a total of 60 games for the season. It's crucial to have choices in the defense and the defensive midfielders as well. As you and Christo (and everyone) is saying, those two positions are our priority. And is not ideal for the players to be burned. Cimirot is a good player, so does Shakhov, but they cannot have a repeat of the previous year where they died somewhere before the end.

Btw Olympiakos is allegedly almost signed Uros Djurdjevic from Partizan. He looks a very promising player. I would love to see Savvidi making such moves at some point.

Δεν έχω δει ποτέ από τον Πέλκα να κάνει το παιχνίδι του Μπίσεσβαρ. Μπορεί να έχει κάνει μερικές πολύ ωραίες φάσεις στην καριέρα του, αλλά μέχρι στιγμής δεν μου δείχνει ότι μπορεί να σηκώσει το βάρος ως δεκάρι στον ΠΑΟΚ. Ο Μπίσεσβαρ είναι κατ' εμέ πιο πολυδιάστατος. Όσο για τον Κρέσπο έκανε καλή χρονιά πέρυσι ναι, αλλά φέτος νομίζω ότι έχει αρχίσει πολύ άσχημα. Ο Βαρέλα δίπλα του ήταν βράχος και στα δύο παιχνίδια και γι' αυτό δεν είχαμε περισσότερα προβλήματα. Πραγματικά ανυπομονώ την μεταγραφή αμυντικού. Και ίσως λίγος πάγκος κάνει καλό στον Κρέσπο ώστε να βελτιωθεί και λίγο.

Έπρεπε να τους βάλουμε σίγουρα άλλα δύο γκολ. Αυτό δεν πειράζει γιατί ακόμα είναι νωρίς και είναι λογικό να μην είναι έτοιμοι. Το πρόβλημα είναι στην άμυνα. Ευτυχώς έχουμε πάρει έναν πολύ καλό τερματοφύλακα, αλλά προσωπικά νομίζω ότι ο Κρέσπο δημιουργεί μεγάλη ανισορροπία στην τετράδα της άμυνας. Επίσης από όταν βγήκε ο Μπίσεσβαρ η ομάδα ξεκίνησε να μην έχει πλάνο. Το παιχνίδι άνοιξε πολύ, οι αντίπαλοι μας έκαναν αρκετές φάσεις και δεν έβαλαν γκολ γιατί είναι άμπαλοι. Φυσικά το ότι ανοίχτηκαν είχε ως αποτέλεσμα να βγάλουμε κι εμείς φάσεις, αλλά χωρίς τον Μπίσεσβαρ δεν λειτουργούν τα πράγματα όπως πρέπει.
