  1. Well said! I also wouldn't be surprised if AEK doesn't make it.
  2. After a summer of our coach being afraid to testify that we are going to win the Championship, those two missed points is the least of our concern. Let's hope that this bad result will make Savvidi and PAE buy more players and make an even stronger team.
  3. Ρε μίλα καλύτερα.
  4. I agree with Christo! I don't care about Greece's ranking. Or to set it appropriately, I care about Greece's ranking on the percentage that my team is responsible. There are four big teams who can make it to Europe, so I care for my 25%. I want PAOK to make me proud, first for myself as a PAOK fan and then as a side effect help Greece. If Greece wants to go anywhere near the standing where it was in the 2000s, every team should look themselves in the mirror and do something about it. Like once Olympiakos was winning the championships and was shameful in Europe, those past five years Panathinaikos and AEK are doing nothing but trying their best to sink Greece's standing. I, as PAOK fan, won't be sorry that my team cannot bring the points Panathinaikos and AEK are supposed to bring. We spent the whole summer with AEK making a big deal about Champions League... Stupid political tricks that are going on for so many decades... What Champions League you scumbags? PAOK didn't make it with way better team than yours three times the last few years. And you expect yoru team with nothing more than mediocre transfers to make it? Panathinaikos also is hoping for a miracle to make it to Europa League stages. I will remind you, that when we came back to Europe in 2010 we had to eliminate Fenerbahce to make it to the stages. And you are complaining because you are unseeded and you got Athletic Bilbao. Well, guess what... That's the kind of teams you have to play because your shitty European runs have ruined you. And you ruined Greece. And the same will be next year. Unless you wait to draw the weakest team of the seeded teams and by accident get past through it. Maybe in five years you get to draw the weakest team, but again, nothing is for granted. Bottom line, if you have no team, you have no chance. It's preseason so surprises happen, but you cannot bet on pure luck. PAOK has gotten what deserves from Europe the last seven years. Same for the rest. So, if you care about Greece then do something about it. But to my eyes, you care more about small politics, about political parties and referees, about killing opposite fans, hide the fact that players don't get paid (Panathinaikos), propaganda, and bullshit. My team is not excluded of course, but we are proud to have offered a handful of points and we are the most consistent team considering we always have played qualification matches to make it to the groups.
  5. Hahahaha! It's good that Klaus is leaving. He is moving on and we get rid of a player who probably would score no goals. Now Savvidis has to buy a real striker with a good salary. No better than Prijovic', but still a decent guy who will be coming from bench successfully, but also would be a starter when Prijovic is injured/suspended/out of form/exhausted. It is a very important transfer to me if we want to go for the championship and progress even further to my favorite Europe.
  6. I guess that's why he wanted to take the penalty against the χωριό.
  7. Sorry guys but to me Pelkas is not an absence for our team. We are going for the win no matter what.
  8. Στο καλό να πάει ο άνθρωπος. Ελπίζω να ξαναβρεί τον εαυτό του και να κάνει ακόμη τρεις καλές χρονιές στην καριέρα του πριν αποσυρθεί.
  9. Exciting game. Leovac was indeed crappy, but I completely disagree about Cimirot. I think Shakhov was the weak link. If Shakhov was better, Cimirot would have less pressure. And actually Cimirot was everywhere. He even did the cross for Matos' goal. I loved Djalma Campos. I have described him a mixture of Bakayoko and Salpiggidis, but he played a great game. There is no player Pelkas to my opinion. Let's see what happens with the new coach. The brain of this guy is limited. He doesn't know how to mark players, he doesn't have the abilities to be our playmaker. Biseswar didn't have a good game himself, but still is way more productive than Pelkas is. The only good thing Pelkas did was his free kick. Nothing else. Great win and we continue our European dream for this season!
  10. Come on... Pay a few euros for your team Athens...
  11. If that happens will be amazing. However we proved that we are doing well against the BIG team of our group (Dortmund - Fiorentina - Tottenham). So, maybe for the weird team called PAOK, a group against three not very well known teams will bring complacency and opposite results...
  12. The first one was 2 euros, this one 4 euros, I hope next one won't be 8 euros...
  13. All three of our owners have given plenty of lectures on how they are going to smash Olympiakos and get the championship. For quite a few years... It's time for action and seriousness from everybody. We reached the bottom, especially in Europe (mainly AEK and Panathinaikos) and it's time for something to honestly change for the better.
  14. Oh, and I would play Malezas instead of Crespo. Probably going to watch the match with a new Chinese student here at University of Miami who came from Cleveland and I will be hosting for a few nights until he gets an apartment. He is allegedly a fan of Barcelona. Time to teach to another Asian what PAOK is... My favorite job! Can't wait for the kick-off.
  15. This lineup is great, however the two central midfielders have to coordinate who is going to be the defensive midfielder and when. None of them is a DM and when both of them want to close to the opponent's penalty area, no one is in the other half of the field to take care of potential counter attacks. If they coordinate well, I think it will be a great match!
  16. Dear jvc Panathinaikos has to challenge himself. The rest is bs. Leave Olympiakos alone, you cannot touch him yet.
  17. Well said!
  18. That was a fast one. But as you all say, better now than in a couple months. The problem is that those who were saying that Vukic suggested Stanojevic while Michel didn't want him probably were right. This is an ongoing problem for PAOK. Who is responsible for what and who is in charge of what. Personally, I would prefer Pablo Garcia to be our coach, but Lucescu it is.
  19. Έλα ρε, έπεσα έξω; Όποιον έχω γνωρίσει από Κιλκίς είναι Πόντιος...
  20. Wow, what happened pash? Is there drama around? Από ποιο χωριό Theo? The chances are να είσαι Πόντιος, σωστά;
  21. For a handball that never occurred!
  22. That would be interesting...
  23. Pash don't get me wrong. I am fine with PAOK not winning the league. I am not fine when I see people not backing their own words. Again, I feel we are in the better shape since 2010. On the other hand I cannot admit I feel bad that we have an owner/millionaire and for five years we are supposed trying wining the league and we are constantly having lower budget from Olympiakos.
  24. Welcome!
  25. I wouldn't want to buy it, but to my eyes all four (Marinakis, Alafouzos, Melissanidis, Savvidis) are corrupted. And Olympiakos/Panathinaikos have proven many times that they are the same thing, they have common interests, and they support each other whenever needed. Melissanidis got last year the CL qualification spot, just to have a good summer and keep AEK fans busy dreaming sheet(i)s. The transfers he made so far are quite mediocre and the team for AEK's name is a joke. If he wanted to form a serious team he would buy serious players. Same goes for Savvidi. Of course we have a better team than AEK, better players, and more expensive roster. Still Olympiakos is the most expensive roster of the league. And both PAOK and AEK want to win the championship all those years even though they have worse team than Olympiakos. And is not that they don't have money. When they are willing to give 50, 100 or even more million in a day, why they choose to buy cheap players for their teams? If we get El Kaddouri, Vieirinha, and Zambrano that changes our story, but all those years it's bullshit going around. And for Melissanidis we know it. He was best friend with Marinakis, then they... got divorce. They all have shares in common companies. So far Melissanidis has proven he doesn't care about AEK. All he did care was the stadium. Maybe they waited to change EPO in order to put some serious money. I will wait and see. However, I cannot say I am not disappointed with Savvidi. With 10 or 15 extra million he will win the league. That money is nothing for him. Why he didn't do it so far? I hope he will do it now. If we buy those three players and figure out a few more positions (Klaus/Koulouris/Center Forward, Kace/defensive midfielder) we will be having the best team ever since 2010 and the fans will at last believe in something. PS: The two friendly games were horrible because one player didn't play. Biseswar. It's sad to say it, but without his abilities we cannot play serious football. Pelkas, or Djalma, or whoever plays 10 cannot do what Biseswar is doing. Sad but truth to my eyes. I hope El Kaddouri will be helping the team be creative.
