Read somewhere that Poyet is contemplating leaving the post after the nations league as he is out of contract. He said that he would entertain the Irish position as he loved their fans. Rumor has it this is a negotiating ploy as he wants an extension ASAP. Apparently the Irish fans liked him as they think he was the only reason Greece was able to beat us, on talent, they believe we are on the same level.

I believe this table is showing Romani has no teams left. At least we are getting closer to 15. Jumping to 17 shouldn't be that hard, getting to 15 will take some huge results.

Pavlidis or any of the other strikers wouldn't be able to do much. No service and they were all played out of position. How is it possible to have 4 strikers on??

If we can't progress through the playoff route, we are not ready. In these qualifiers, the only game we looked like we didn't belong was the first Dutch game. The games against France and the Netherlands (at home) we lost on penalties. That says something. One concerning aspect, against those teams, we did sit back too much (outside of the last 15 minutes yesterday) and it led to too much contact in the box. Against France, we could have easily been called for at least one more.

We have no shot at 2nd, playoffs it is... to be honest, outside of the last 20 minutes, didn't deserve a win
