  1. Fetfa got called up, let's see if he plays.... https://www.sdna.gr/podosfairo/nations-league/article/521937/stin-ethniki-o-fetfatzidis
  2. I am not saying that he is not a good keeper, all I am saying is that Karnezis/Barkas/Giannotis are ranked slightly higher. Is Vlacho the automatic starter because he is at Benfica? Last year he was at PAO and was purchased for 2 mill. Did he really improve to world class over night? Not saying he can't get there but let's put it in context, he's only played 5 games for Benfica.
  3. yea - currently, he would be considered our 4/5th keeper...
  4. Lodygin never panned out, I don't think he even made the Russian NT in the summer and he may no longer start at Zenit.
  5. Bayern scouting Benfica goalkeeper Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Benfica goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos, according to Sport1.The Germans are already lookiEintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig are also following his progress.ng for a long-term successor to Manuel Neuer and believe the 24-year-old could be their man. Not sure how accurate this is (found it on goal.com so take it for what it's worth)
  6. Tsimikas plays a big role in the U21 team, with qualification into the finals so close (U21 - they are almost through as the top team), they may not call him up.
  7. I think it's on TNT in the states (if so, you can also stream in online from their site)
  8. They have to appeal to UEFA after everything is sorted. I don't believe that has ever been done in the past but having said that, they will argue different ownership/management. I don't believe a strong case like this has ever been presented.
  9. He's performed well outside of that one game...
  10. The only reason he called him up was that Staf/Retsos are injured. It does say something that the last two times he has started, he has been subbed off at the half.
  11. As a team, we are improving. They didn't let us dominate them, we were in control the whole time outside of a few minutes in the first half. Teams that deserve to win do not always win, there was a bit of luck on their side. Even big teams lay eggs against supposedly inferior teams. If we would bury all our shots, we would have been in Group A. While I do not think anyone should be happy with this result, we did show attacking play and did have some nice passes. The two goals we conceded, they would have been scored on anyone.
  12. We had the shots, we had the chances - they didn't fall today. We played well and dominated at times, just couldn't close. We play like this, chances are we win 8 out of 10 times. Both goals we gave up were really good goals. That's the way it goes sometimes.
  13. That goal they scored was a really good goal, nothing you can do about it. Give them credit.
  14. He hasn't played with his team yet. I think Skibbe was concerned with Lyko that his man was constantly getting ahead of him in the last match.
  15. His comments aren't anything concerning, he wants Germany to win the Nations League, something Greece can't right now. If they were playing against each other and he said he hoped we would lose, then...
  16. Didn't Donis play as a striker against Belgium and have a great game?
  17. Typically, Porto/Benfica are considered top 20 teams. The problem with them is that they sell their players and don't replace them with the same quality. While the 4-1 score line does reflect yesterday's game, it could have reflected the previous game. All in all, PAOK imploded, they had the game and lost it. They should do well in the Europa, they do have quality.
  18. From all accounts, he had a so-so game. Defense in general didn't play well.
  19. If it's TNT, you can even stream it on your PC/phone...
  20. It's funny how they thought the referring decisions were questionable in the second half however the penalty given was soft at best, the penalty for OLY was not given ( in the first half). I agree that it shouldn't have been a red but it did hit his arm. I guess it's all about perspective. Love the Greek journalist who asked the coach, how can you say you did well, when you were outplayed over the pitch, had one shot on goal and received a penalty than even Prince William wouldn't give...
  21. Don't think it was a penalty, they were both going for the ball and got bumped and went straight down. If you go to sport24.gr, they have live commentary plus show clips of the goals..
  22. Karnezis is the one who is playing at the highest level, won the starting job at Udinese over an up and coming GK, won the job at Watford and currently has the job in Napoli (not sure how long that is). Usually consistent outside of penalties. Kapino has had a rough last year, still has promise. Paschalakis/Barkas/Giannotis - all three have been solid with Paschalakis standing out because of the first two rounds of CL. Vlacho - played well for PAO last year and is playing well for Benfica. They really like there, see him being sold for a big fee.
  23. Both Asteras and Atromitos should have progressed, they were the better teams in both legs. Atromitos lost in the 5th minute of a 4 minute stoppage time and Asteras, despite playing a man down (again) almost had it.
  24. The reason that Tziolis started in the Saudi Arabia game was because we had an experimental team and Skibbe wanted someone who was familiar with those players and he plays in their league. Regarding Fetfa, while I want him to be included in the next round of games, we need to put his past performances in perspective. He wasn't exactly Messi when he played but still an upgrade over a Zeca on the wing.
  25. He had an off year, different coach, different system...harshly criticized....
