  1. If it's TNT, you can even stream it on your PC/phone...
  2. It's funny how they thought the referring decisions were questionable in the second half however the penalty given was soft at best, the penalty for OLY was not given ( in the first half). I agree that it shouldn't have been a red but it did hit his arm. I guess it's all about perspective. Love the Greek journalist who asked the coach, how can you say you did well, when you were outplayed over the pitch, had one shot on goal and received a penalty than even Prince William wouldn't give...
  3. Don't think it was a penalty, they were both going for the ball and got bumped and went straight down. If you go to sport24.gr, they have live commentary plus show clips of the goals..
  4. Karnezis is the one who is playing at the highest level, won the starting job at Udinese over an up and coming GK, won the job at Watford and currently has the job in Napoli (not sure how long that is). Usually consistent outside of penalties. Kapino has had a rough last year, still has promise. Paschalakis/Barkas/Giannotis - all three have been solid with Paschalakis standing out because of the first two rounds of CL. Vlacho - played well for PAO last year and is playing well for Benfica. They really like there, see him being sold for a big fee.
  5. Both Asteras and Atromitos should have progressed, they were the better teams in both legs. Atromitos lost in the 5th minute of a 4 minute stoppage time and Asteras, despite playing a man down (again) almost had it.
  6. The reason that Tziolis started in the Saudi Arabia game was because we had an experimental team and Skibbe wanted someone who was familiar with those players and he plays in their league. Regarding Fetfa, while I want him to be included in the next round of games, we need to put his past performances in perspective. He wasn't exactly Messi when he played but still an upgrade over a Zeca on the wing.
  7. He had an off year, different coach, different system...harshly criticized....
  8. I believe we did play Greece and Spain in friendlies in Greece a few years back and no one showed up. We played the Netherlands last year. So we have played them but we haven't build on them and in Greece, attendance is terrible...
  9. He always wanted to go back to Spain.
  10. The second interception was similar to the one he had against Belgium except he scored this time - he is fast!!!
  11. Or it can be a simple update of the site....
  12. So Grexit is a positive thing? That will set back Greek football for years as investors will leave and there will be no money for the local sports programs. If you think the quality of Greek footballers is low now, it will be non-existent if Grexit happens.
  13. The thing is that Fourtounis did play abroad, in Germany, but didn't impress. He regressed and rediscovered his form back at OLY.
  14. 12 Andreas Gianniotis 7 Lazaros Christodoulopoulos 5 Kyriakos Papadopoulos 3 Giorgos Tzavellas 9 Nikolaos Karelis 6 Alexandros Tziolis 17 Panagiotis Tachtsidis 25 Dimitrios Pelkas 20 Anastasios Donis 21 Konstantinos Stafylidis 24 Michalis Bakakis Not bad to experiment except for two players...I would have put in Retsos and Kourbelis in their place...
  15. That's not a bad starting line up, that will probably be our line up come September. The key now is to make the subs to see who would fit in with them.
  16. I think the best example is what happened in Germany. Dortmund was having financial troubles and needed funds, Bayern lent them the money because they knew the German league was stronger with them in it!!
  17. I agree but if he serves as a leader and as an example, I guess I can deal with it. If he actually is in the 11, then...Remember Ranieri changed the whole team and we got crushed, we need a steady ship. If that means including a player like Tsiolis to ease the transition, I can deal with that...
  18. Overall, he may value Tsiolis influence on the team. He may see him as a good guys for team culture, similar to Torosidis.
  19. While Tziolis and Tzavellas are not ideal, he did pick a large squad to look at. A lot of guys we have been wanting him to look were selected, with the most notable exception being fetfa. Now if they both play, that's a different story...
  20. Ultimately, I believe he was trying to "handle" the situation himself as the goal should not have been disallowed. Changing the call based on perceived harassment was wrong but that is on the ref. Then Ivan coming down with a gun just destroys his argument. Three things should happen: 1) VAR should be instituted in Greece (take the call away from the refs on the pitch) - this can be even outsourced for the first year or two 2) Any players harassing the refs should be carded 3) Any ownership/management stepping onto the pitch should receive a fine/suspension.
  21. Either way, this incident has escalated internationally. FIFA and UEFA have both said they will be watching the outcomes of EPO's decision. I believe UEFA will be helping with implementing the verdict/new sporting legislation. The truth is the constant invading and hooliganism involved in the derbies is ruining the game. Something has to be done to ruin what otherwise has been a good season for the Superleague.
  22. All these countries have worked so hard to participate in a tourney that happens once every four years, no one will willingly drop out...
