  1. PAOKSWEDEN, there is already a deal that includes all the teams. The problem is that PAOK is the only Superleague team that opted out of this deal. That's why the PAOK home games are not available outside of Greece. In order to keep us happy PAE PAOK lets Laola stream the games. Like you said this will probably end, when this new company finds a broadcaster to show the games.
  2. You really think Fox Sports would be interested in PAOK Superleague games? Really doubt that. They are probably going to get a deal in Europe before US/Australia, specially in the German market.
  3. Because the only reason why they are not showing the PAOK games right now is because PAOK did not sign the deal with them to begin with, so I don't see them contradicting themselves now. If they wanted to do that they would have signed a separate deal with PAOK instead of going through a Jewish middleman. The only option I see this company is setting a pay-per-view channel available through satellite/cable/internet to show the games.
  4. True, but who would actually be interested to show those games besides Sport Plus and Antenna Group in USA, Canada and Australia? Since those two broadcasters are cooperating with Superleague/NOVA to collectively show the games, I don't see them buying the rights to PAOK games from the Israeli middle man.
  5. Well Laola is a legit source and it's not a bad arrangement, but not everyone has the access to internet. Specially the old-timers, like my father for example. I am not sure who will this Israeli firm sub-license the rights to? I don't see Sport Plus and Antenna group getting the games, since they are cooperating with Superleague (and NOVA) to show the remaining 15 teams. Who else is left out there? The only remaining Greek satellite stations are MEGA Cosmos and Alpha SAT, and I don't see them getting the games either. Don't fool ourselves, I don't think any non-Greek channel would be willing to show the games.
  6. PAOK has licensed the international television rights to their home games to Davnis Sports until the end of the 2016-2017 season. This probably means the end of Laola1.TV streams, as well as the possibility of PAOK home games coming back to either Sport Plus or Antenna Satellite/Pacific. The question is who else might be interested in showing the games. I really don't see any alternatives.
  7. Well the Laola streams issues might not matter anymore since ...
  8. I'll take him over Klaus any day. The problem is that there is nobody providing any service to him or Klaus for that matter. In this game PAOK needs to play a formation like they did in Dortmund utilizing counter attacks and counting on some luck defensively. Unfortunately most players to play this system are currently injured. Since Korovesis and Mystakidis might also be out for this one along with the previous absentees, my lineup for this game would look like this: ----------------------- Vellidis -------------------- ---- Vitor ------- Malezas ------Tzavellas --- Kitsiou ---- Tziolis - Cimirot - Kace - Sabo ----------- Berbatov --------- Mak --------------
  9. Unbelievable. EPO has assigned Alexandros Dimitropoulos as the referee for this game. In case anyone is wondering, he is one of the refs that is implicated in the football organized crime scandal and has been banned from leaving the country until trial takes place.
  10. No, I try to watch it through the web browser on my Smart TV. It worked ok until about 1 month ago, but the last two games it is asking for a premium account. Have no problem on the laptop using either Google Chrome or IE Explorer. Not a big deal as I can connect the laptop to the TV.
  11. Anyone have problems watching the Laola1 PAOK streams on Smart TV? When I try to watch the game on my 60 incher, Laola tells me that I need a premium account. I get around it by streaming it on my laptop connected to the TV with HDMI cable.
  12. Apparently there is a clause in his contract that PAOK can release him by March 31st if we are not happy with his services. All this according to kolkas.gr, which means that it could be a total BS.
  13. PAOK and Berbatov managed to cut the 3-game ban to 2- games on appeal, which means that he is available for the game on Sunday. The only problem is that Tudor will not start him, which means your lineup is intact pash.
  14. Costa is no longer on the team. Also Charisis is out for a month due to another injury. He is becoming a new Konstantinidis. if the rumors floating around about him about spending endless nights in Thessaloniki bars are true, it's not surprising he gets injured so often. pash I think Tzavellas will play as CB, with Korovesis on LB. Pelkas in Charisis's spot, and Mak on left wing. Hope Tudor does not experiment again with Sabo in a position he never played. Unfortunately I see us being destroyed in this game.
  15. With 1:1 from the first leg, all we need is a scoreless tie.

  17. Mak was selected not to play in the PAOK - Iraklis game, so he will be available on Sunday. Let's not forget that we don't have a big selection of forwards for this game. Only Mak and Klaus. Wonder what king of formation will Tudor employ. He should also remember that we have a lot more important game on Thursday against Panionios in the cup.
  18. Iakovos Aggelidis resigned as the PAE PAOK president today. Lubos Michel, the Slovakian ex-referee will apparently be announced as the new president tomorrow.
  19. Presidents of PAE PAOK since 1979- 1980, the start of the professional soccer in Greece: 1979 - 1984: Giorgos Pantelakis 1984 - 1986: Petros Kalafatis 1986 - 1988: Charis Savvidis 1988 - 1989: Giannis Dedeoglou 1989 - 1996: Thomas Voulinos 1996 - 1996: Georgios Kalyvas 1996 - 2001: Georgios Batatoudis 2001 - 2003: Petros Kalafatis 2003 - 2006: Giannis Goumenos 2006 - 2007: Nikos Vezyrtzis 2007 - 2009: Theodoros Zagorakis 2009 - 2010: Zisis Vryzas 2010 - 2011: Theodoros Zagorakis 2011 - 2014: Zisis Vryzas 2014 - 2016: Iakovos Angelides (Cyprus) 2016 - 2016: Lubos Michel (Slovakia) 2016 - present: Ivan Savvidis
  20. Apparently Vezyrtzis will resign as PAE PAOK vice-president tomorrow. That follows the resignation of PAE PAOK president Jack Aggelidis. Vezyrtzis probably got pissed off that Savvidis chose Michel as the new president instead of him.
  21. The Costa move really makes no sense considering he was gone after this season anyway. I guess they think that we can make it with Vitor, Malezas, Tzavellas and Chatziisaia for the rest of the season. Good luck with that. The bigger problem though is that we did not get help with a "dekari". Pelkas just does not cut it. There was a talk of signing Chavez who won his release from Giannina. That move would not make any sense prior to Saturday, but after loosing Rodrigues and Jairo for 6 weeks, I am surprised we did not sign him.
  22. Kace, just like Berbatov is on Tudor's black list for some reason.
