Stefanidi cleared 4.60m on the first try and qualified to the final.

Today was the deadline for Football League teams to apply for the 2017-2018 season. Of the 18 eligible teams 17 applied and paid the entry fee (3,500 Euro). Agrotikos Asteras declined to apply and will not play in the upcoming Football league season. The following teams have applied: Apollon Pontos Apollon Larisa AE Sparti AEP Iraklis AO Chania AO Trikala Aiginiakos Anagennisi Karditsa Aris Thessaloniki Acharnaikos Ergotelis Kallithea Kissamikos OFI Panahaiki Patra Panaigialeios Panserraikos Serres

Tentoglou only managed 7.79m in the qualifying. Not enough to make the final. He needed to jump 7.91m or more. In the meantime Stefanidi is sitting out all the heights so far. I think she will make her first attempt at 4.60m

That's about right. I think we will get only one medal from the Greek athletes. It will come from our Olympic champion Stefanidi. After that probably 1 or 2 athletes will make the finals.

We should really not have any problems eliminating this team. They are a semi-professional team at best. Galata decided to take them lightly and paid for it. All PAOK has to do in the first game at Toumba come out, score 3 goals, and then go and make it an easy afternoon in Sweden. Let's not forget that there will also be a Superleague game in between the two games with them.

When did Jairo cause trouble for the team? I don't remember any issues with him except that he is just an average player. Hence the constant loans.

And they have Papagiannopoulos who will want some revenge for being cut from PAOK.

PAOK - Ostersund (SWE)

If we can avoid Videoton and Utrecht we should be fine.

The play-off round draw is tomorrow at 14:00 EEST Here are our possible opponents (ecxclude the Greek teams): Panathinaikos Athens GRE 15.080 Maritimo Funchal POR 14.866 Rosenborg Trodheim BK NOR 12.665 Hajduk Split CRO 11.550 Sherif Tiraspol MOL 11.150 Apollon Limassol CYP 10.710 AIK Stockholm SWE 9.945 FC Olexandriya UKR 9.526 Videoton Szekesfehervar HUN 8.650 Crvena Zvezda Beograd SRB 7.325 Skenderbeu Korce ALB 6.825 FC Utrecht HOL 6.712 AEK Athens GRE 6.580 SCR Altach AUT 6.570 AEK Larnaca CYP 6.210 FH Hafnarfjardar ISL 6.175 Vitorul Constanta ROM 5.870 NK Osijek CRO 5.550 Vardar Skopje FYR 5.125 NK Domzale SLO 4.125 Ostersunds FK SWE 3.945 Shkendija Tetovo MKD 3.375 Suduva Marijampole LIT 2.225 Panathinaikos might end up in seeded section if AIK Stockholm holds on and eliminates Sporting Braga. If Braga eliminates AIK then Panathinaikos will be unseeded and AIK will not be part of the draw.

Don't think Crespo is the real cause of our defensive lapses. Matos sometimes leaves his side unprotected when he goes out on offense. Cimirot has not been good so far covering up when that happens. I would have played Kace instead of Cimirot. Our midfield is playing poorly so far and it shows both on the defensive end as well as offense. We really need another solid CB and a creative midfielder.

Prijo so close again

We are trying hard to put them back into the game.

I think Pelkas needs to come in. We have been just sitting back ever since Biseswar came out.

Henrique in for Biseswar.

Stupid yellow by Leovac.

Prijovic very poor today ... Just saying.

Common Biseswar

Prijovic has been weak today.

What a goal by Cimirot.

We are pathetic defensively. Need to score another one. Cimirot very disappointing so far this season.

Mak 1:0

Prijovic so close

We are taking the game to them and I like it. I think if we score the first one the flood gates will open.

Latest negotiations failed again. However the league said they will start games as scheduled. During the season it will be decided if there will be playoffs and in what format. It remains to be seen if NOVA will take legal actions.
