  1. During a Superleague meeting (vie Skype/Zoom) it was decided to postpone a decision on the resumption of 2019-2020 season until April 24. PAE Panathinaikos proposed to call the season over. PAOK agreed in principle under certain conditions (resolution of the PAOK/Xanthi issue, etc.). Other teams agreed under the condition to increase the next season to 16 team without anybody being relegated. Olympiakos wants to end the season, but only if a champion is declared via vote.
  2. Here is the 2019-2020season PAOK roster including players on loan. 3. I can vouch for the pizza. It's very good. Will you deliver to Chicago? ?
  4. Power that be are pushing for Superleague to resume on May 16. There is supposed to be a Supeleague meeting next week to decide that.
  5. Safe here. Working from home since March 16. Love it. I could get used to it. The only problem will be losing the weight I will put on due to all the snacking. Prior to this s%$#! breaking out I booked my airplane tickets for Greece for end of June. Now everything is up in the air. Netflix is getting a workout at my house. Managed to finish the new season of Narcos Mexico. Also saw The English Game which I highly recommend. That way I got to see some form of football on TV.
  6. Reports are that our last SL game against Olympiakos (0:1) was viewed by 120,000 people on PAOK TV. That's a combination of one time purchase and annual subscriptions.
  7. Those salaries are nowhere close to reality, and most of them probably include the 45% taxes owed to the government, as well as performance bonuses Wernbloom is not our highest paid player. His salary is close to 1.1 mil. Vieirinha is our highest paid player at 1.3 mil and PAE PAOK was specific when Vieirinha was signed that his salary will be the highest salary on the team. As for expiring contracts, in June 2020 the contracts of Mauricio, Misic, and Vieirinha are ending. Matos's contract expires as well if he does not play additional 3 games this season. El Kaddouri's contract expires in June 2021 along with quite a few other players.
  8. Looks like for next season PAOK TV is signing a deal with Amazon. Not details were announced, but most likely it means that the games might be included on Amazon Prime and via Firestick.
  9. Well he is serving a four year ban for his doping offense. He has 3 years left before he can compete again. I read an interview with him recently and claims that he is innocent and that he will return to competition after he serves his ban.
  10. For starters there is a rumor that Zisis Vryzas is coming back to replace Branco as a Tecnical Director. Fake news in my opinion, but nothing will surprise me these days. I am also of the opinion that transfer period should be used to revamp the roster. Clean up needs to be done.
  11. Since there is no game action, this is the best time to open everyone's favorite topic.
  12. My prediction is that the playoffs will not take place at all.
  13. Tomorrow the Superleague will announce that all Superleague games will cancelled. Looks like this game will not be played.
  14. I don't believe for one second that the he has the virus. How convenient to catch the virus just one week before he was supposed to appear in court for match fixing. Also the Wolves have asked UEFA to postpone their game against Olympiakos on Thursday following this news. PAOK should do the same for Sunday.
  15. Must have been this priest:.
  16. Olympiakos has officially asked EPO to cancel the two friendly games in the US due to the Corona virus hysteria.
  17. No fans at this game due to the Corona virus hysteria

  19. I don't really have to say how I feel. The actions speak for themselves. But after all this is a forums which is supposed function as an outlet for people to discuss and present their opinions. Do you have any on the matter?
  20. How convenient. Magically the corona virus will disappear 2 weeks from now.
  21. O Aris will not pursue any punishment for AEX following the events of their cup game. The game where the gangster punched the puppet of Marinakis and where the refs were inappropriately touched by the gangster's people. This was also the game where there were serious injuries to O Aris staff. But after all that, O Aris will not pursue the matter any further. I am sure they are just following the master's orders. After all the master has orchestrated this whole PAOK/Xanthi fake issue and with the help of POKemon and friendly puppets it was a success. Of course for all the help the master got he will hand out some gifts. Be it a TV contract in his novasport TV empire, or a help to get a good European ticket. Would not surprise me at all if AEX will let Aris go to the cup final in exchange for two easy wins in the playoffs. Everyone will be happy. The master will get his title and possibly the cup, while AEX will get the 2nd place and CL competition and O Aris will be able to play in the cup final.
  22. Job well done by the youngsters and Pablo Garcia.
  23. Because with 8 point lead over AEX going into the playoffs it would be hard to lose the second place. Now with one point difference and the team's psychology down the toilet because of fake charges by Olympiakos the second place is AEK's. That was the plan all along by the POKemon deal under the table.
  24. Round 1 is on March 14/15. The PAOK - Olympiakos game is on March 15 at 19:30 EET.
  25. How can you sell shares of something you don't even own? F*** logic. Only in a banana republic.
